Lilianne's POV
I left the house quickly. When I moved a bit from my apartment, I reached for a pack of cigarettes. I hate this addiction. Believe me or not. It's hard not to smoke when all your friends are smoking. I tried to focus as I traveled through the crowded streets of Barcelona, but I couldn't. After about 10 minutes, I was standing in front of Valentina's house.
"What is happening, Lil?" she asked as soon as she saw me
"We are moving out" I answered with a sarcastic smile
"Where?"
"The Bronx. My favorite place on the earth" I said
"No way, girl. You have school, friends, and other stuff here. It's your home" she screamed
"You think that I'm happy? No, Valentina. I'm not. I have to start everything over. I will miss you so much, but I probably have nothing to say at this point" I sighed
"Girl. I love you, and I always will. I will visit you in this shitty place as often as I can. Everything's gonna be alright" she told me and hugged me.
"Love you too"
I don't want to lose her. I don't want to lose my life.
Vivienne's POV
My poor baby. She has a life here, but we have no choice. My heart is broken. Andrew- he can handle it. He is only 5 years old and he hasn't started school yet. I called my husband.
After a few minutes, he finally picked up.
"Jeremy, she hates us" I cried
"Baby, we have to get through it. It's not like we have a choice. Mccann is already not happy about this whole situation. He told that we should be there next Friday"
"I know, I know" I sighed
Jason's POV
♪ Halsey- Control ♪
I sat in my office staring out at the Manhattan panorama. I was smoking a cigarette. Believe me or not I hate this habit. The phone snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Mccann," I said
"Jason, it's Chaz"
Chaz is my only best friend. I trust him with all my work.
"What's going on?" I asked
"On the business side- Jeremy Scott will move in next week"
"Finally. He is getting on my nerves. No wonder why my dad used to hate him"
Used to...
"And the other side?" I asked
"She has a beautiful daughter" he laughed
"I don't care. I think I remember her. She's like ten"
I reached for another cigarette. The pack was empty. Fuck- I mumbled
"No, but close. She is almost 17" he told
"Still too young, too stupid. Waste of time. I have to focus on my work, not some random chick who is my employee's daughter"
"So I can take her?" he asked
"Don't care. And how's the delivery? Did he pay?" I asked
"He didn't"
"What the fuck, Chaz? Ask Birney to send me his location. I will pay him a little visit"
"Okay, will do"
I hate when people disrespect me. I'm not a fucking charity.
"Can somebody bring me the fucking cigarettes? I asked!" I screamed
After a few minutes, a woman showed up. I don't even know her and I don't want to.
"Finally!" I said
"Boss, but you didn't ask" she told
"You still have the nerve to speak up. Interesting. I wonder if you'll be so brave next time when the last cigarette from my pack will be put out on your dead body" I laughed
"I'm so sorry"
"Don't care. Leave"
I laughed. Other people's fear drives me.
I reached for the gun. Time to visit my friend.
As I was leaving, I hit my little finger against the chair.
-WHO PUT THIS FUCKING CHAIR THERE?- I screamed
Fucking idiots.
After a while, I got there. It wasn't hard finding this motherfucker. He was standing and talking on his phone. I don't have time for this. I don't have a mood and my finger hurts. I want to go home and be alone.
"Long time no see, Ryder" I laughed
I could see the panic in his eyes. He should have respected me. It's not my fault.
"I don't have your money. I will. But now I can't. Give me some time, dude" he sighed
"Okay" I said
"Okay? I knew that I shouldn't listen to people who say you are a ruthless monster" he replied proud of his answer
I turned and walked away a few steps.
"Ryder?"
"Yes, Mcca- " He didn't have time to finish his sentence, I shot him in the head without thinking.
I'm a ruthless monster.
I wrote a quick message to Chaz to take care of the body. After that, I walked away.
