We all sitting in the waiting room waiting for the doctor to come out with some news. I was debating on if I should tell dad what Sanai told me, but I made a promise I wouldn't say a word.

Sanai had to get surgery done but other than that she was okay, I sat down in the chair not saying nothing. I was going to wait until everyone left, "You good A"? Ashley ask.

"Yeah I'm fine, look ima stay up here with Nai for a while you gone ahead home I'll be there later on".

Once everyone spoke with Nai they said their byes while walking out. "Austin I already know what you about to say" Sanai said while looking at the tv.

"Was it him"?

"Its Jonathan, I know he was behind all this".

"What about that David guy".

"No I'm pretty sure he had nothing to do with this".

"How can you be so sure Nai, don't be taking up for him cause soon as I find that Jonathan dude best believe David going down to".

"Ain't nobody taking up for him I just know he doesn't have nothing to do with this".

I got up from the chair and start pacing around the room, my mind was just roaming all over the place. "I think its best if we tell dad about this".

"Hell no, are you trying to get me kill by him if he finds out about what I told you. Don't back out on me now A I trusted you, you made a promise I can handle him myself".

"No you not going to be handling nothing I don't care if you the oldest or not, I'm not letting you do this".

"See I knew I shouldn't never told you, all I'm asking is that don't tell dad or mom".

"Okay Sanai but if something else goes down I'm telling, get some sleep I will come back up here in the morning" I kiss her forehead then left. I'm not playing with her let something else goes down, which Nai know we can't hide stuff from our parents especially our dad he can read us like a book.

I swear Austin act just like daddy, I grab my phone and dial David number. Waiting for him to pick up which he pick up on the third ring.

"Sanai you alright"?

"Yeah and no, I been shot and I think Jonathan got something to do with it".

"Damn I don't know what's up with him, after you left I told him I wasn't dealing with him no more. I thought he was going to try to threaten me but instead he let me go".

"Somebody need to get rid of him cause my brother is after him and you".

"What he after me for"?

"I told him pretty much everything even about you hitting me, don't worry though I told him you didn't have nothing to do with me getting shot. Look I'm finna hang up just be on the look out for your stepfather, and if you hear anything you know my number" and with that I ended the call.

"How we feeling"? The nurse said walking in with a tray of food.

"I'm okay hurting a little though".

"Don't worry I'll be back with your medicine" she start doing what she normally do. I pick over the food cause it looked nasty I just drunk the juice and ate the little ice cream I had.

"I don't mean to sound like a freak but you are pretty you remind me of my momma" the nurse said, I never got her name she didn't wear no badge so I didn't know what to call her but nurse.

"Thank you may I ask where is your mother"?

"Well-".

"Sanai I know you up in here starving so I went and got you some Chipo- oh I mean this is not for her this all mines" Lonnie said causing me and the nurse to laugh.

"Its fine I know she was going to call someone to bring her some food, I will be back to get you your medicine" she left out leaving me and Lonnie alone.

"Girl you a mess, I'm glad you came through though cause I was definitely gonna call someone to bring me something to eat" she handed me my food then she took a seat on the couch.

"What you and Kesean up to"? I ask her.

"Nothing much he can't wait to get back down here to be all up under me".

"Aww he love him some Lonnie".

"And I love me some Kesean" she say as we both giggle. "Once you go through surgery and heal you still gonna model"?

"Of course that's my passion, I always wanted to model. Me getting shot ain't going to stop me, how Gina doing by the way"?

"Same ole thing, I haven't heard from her lately. I guess she connect with her parents" we talk some more then Lonnie threw our trash away. "See you tomorrow,want me to bring you some breakfast in the morning"?

"Nah I'll get my dad to do that" I tell her, we hug then she went on out. I was full and sleepy, thought the nurse was going to come back with my meds guess not. I flip through the channels found something that would put me to slee
