"I don't know I'm still thinking on it" While I was telling Sanai about what Darnell told me we stop by the bakery place to pick up the cake for Aniqua baby shower that was today.

"Well at least your problem is not a big deal like mines" Sanai said as I paid for the cake then we left out the place heading to the car.

"What you mean"?

"It's kinda a long story and I rather not talk about it".

"Oh okay then whatever it is I hope you work it out" was all I said before I pull out the parking lot heading to AJ house.

"This is nice real nice, I like how y'all decorated the place" I tell my sister's and them.

"Aww the cake is so cute" Aniqua said as she began to tear up, them damn hormones of hers be having me crazy.

"Don't even start that crying girl you gonna make me cry" Ashley said walking over to her.

Girls these days, I thought to myself while they was having their moment I went in the kitchen to grab a bottle of water.

"How sweet" I turn around to figure out who said that when I didn't see nobody else in the kitchen with me.

"Over here AJ" I look to my left and seen Cynique standing there with a mean look on her face.

"Cynique what do you want from me?" I ask her.

"I want you back can't you see that, I guess not because you go and get that girl pregnant when I should've been the one having your baby".

"It's a little to late for that, you're dead and I'm sorry that I hurted you but have you realize that I was hurt as well once you told me that".

"AJ who are you talking to"? Aaliyah ask me as she walk in the kitchen.

"Nobody I was just thinking aloud" I said to her.

"Oh so now I'm a nobody now" Cynique said, she was still here in the kitchen.

"Just leave me alone damn" I said closing my ears shutting my eyes shut.

"AJ are you sure you okay"?

I open my eyes and Cynique was gone, "I'm sorry Liyah I been trippin lately I guess its something I ate earlier".

"Oh well Aniqua wants you to come sit with her while she opens up some gifts".

"Sure why not" I say then we both left out the kitchen until I heard Cynique voice say "I will always be around AJ" I shook it off and sat next to Niqua as she start pulling out some baby clothes out the gift bag.

While they was talking and handing Aniqua some baby gifts, I was to busy feeding my face all I was waiting for was Aniqua to cut the cake.

"Aye what's up son" my dad said putting his arm around my shoulder.

"Oh so now I'm your son, I thought I was adopted".

"Yeah you is but I love you anyway".

This man here, I can't do nothing but have love for him.

"Ight pops I ain't even about to have a debate with you not today".

"True cause you know I will always have the last word" he hit my back then took a wing off my plate and walk away.

"What you and father got going"? My mom ask.
