"I'm thinking about not going" August said while putting on his shoes.

"How come"?

"Just don't feel like going, you gone ahead and enjoy yourself. Besides I gotta head up to the studio so I can finishing working on the song.

I continue to get dress not saying another word to him, its always something with him.

"Jay don't start that na if I have time I'll show up".

"Its cool August I'm not tripping" even though I was but whatever. "I think the reason you don't won't to go is cause you use to be a teacher and you probably afraid to walk in there with me".

"No that's not reason we grown so it don't matter now, I don't want to be around those folks anyway".

"Okay well I'm gone see you when I get back" I grab my clutch, phone and out the door I went.

CJ

Everybody I had ran into still look the same, "Aye CJ what's been going on with you man"? One of my classmates ask me.

"Living life man I see you still living thought you would've been dead by now".

"I see you still funny man nah I'm living life just like you, struggling a little bit but I'm making it through".

"That's good to hear, enjoy your night" I tell him then walk off, cause I already know what was coming next he was going to ask for some money and I was never cool with him.

"Did you run into Trina yet"? JJ ask.

"Hell nah and don't want to you want trouble to start don't you".

"Why would I want trouble to start, after all these years knowing Trina she might still be the same person from school".

While I was half way listening to JJ the devil herself walk in. "Great you done spoke the girl up, there she go over there" I pointed towards the door.

"Let me go find Kay" Justin left before I could even stop him, something might go down tonight.

Kay

"Where's August"? I ask Jay.

"He didn't want to come so he's up at the studio".

I was about to speak again until Justin and CJ came over. "You good Killa Kay"? CJ ask me.

"Yeah I'm fine why"?

"Cause Trina is here" Justin jump in.

"Okay and I don't care" I shrugged my shoulders and continue to talk to Jay, I'm not worrying about that girl long as she stay her distance I'm good.

Justin

"I see you still look the same" Trina said from the side of me. "Yeah how you been"? I ask trying to make a smile talk.

"I'm good, so hows the girlfriend"?

"She's fine".

"Hey babe what's taking you so long" Kay came over to where I was locking her arm with mines.

"Hey umm Kaden right"? Trina ask.

"Yeah, JJ honey we waiting for you over by the table. It was nice seeing you" Kay grab onto to me and we sat with CJ and them.

"You childish for that you know that right" I say to Kay while pulling out her seat.

"What I was being nice and made a little small talk, you lucky I spoke and not act stupid".
