x. day eighteen

day eighteen!

"anyone wanna go get some more water with me?" luna asked the group as she walked up wearing one of the bikinis she had packed, covered up by a pair of shorts and a unbuttoned flannel.

kirin immediately stood up, "luna, darling, you look hot." ivan complimented the girl, "yes she does." kirin agreed. "thank you." luna smiled. kirin moved beside of her, kissing her cheek softly, "i'll come."

"ew" "gross" the rest of the boys teased as the two went off to the waterfall kirin and josh found a couple days ago.

the two walked hand in hand, water bottles in the other.

today was one of the hottest days they had to spend on the island. so luna decided to take advantage of it.

as the two reached the waterfall, luna took in the scenery a small smile resting on her face. she thought it was beautiful, one of the nicer views being on the island.

she watched as the water ran from the rocks into the pool of water. she looked around at the rocks and the trees and everything that surrounded the water. she thought it was a nice place, the sound of the water running making it even better.

"come on lu" kirin took his shirt off as they stood on a rock, he dove into the water, surfacing he faced the girl, moving his hair back. "isn't it beautiful?"

luna nodded, "yeah, yeah it is" she placed the bottles she carried down and slid off her flannel. she smiled as she watched kirin, she was happy that he was happy. he was floating on his back as he waited for the girl to join him. she unbuttoned her shorts and slid them off as well.

"come on pretty girl, get in here."

"i'm coming, i'm coming."

luna dove into the water from the same place kirin did. she immediately felt better as the water cooled her off from the heat. she swam over to kirin, splashing him with the water.

"hey." luna smiled.

"hi." kirin replied, splashing her back.

"it's really nice out here, the water feels amazing. and it's definitely better than just sitting around, and the boys teasing us all the time." luna spoke, kirin nodded im agreement.

"yeah, it is." he responded, moving the hair out of her face before pulling her into him. she wrapped her arms around his neck as he wrapped his arms around her waist. her legs wrapped around him. she smiled at him, as she ran her fingers through his wet hair.

"you're so beautiful, luna" he complimented, his voice barely above a whisper. the girl felt her face heat up, it never failed no matter how many times he complimented her, she always felt nervous and her face turned a light shade of red. "thank you."

"i know that we're literally stuck on a deserted island right now and when we get off we don't know what all will happen but until then, can i be your boyfriend?" as the last few words left his mouth, luna felt a fluttering in her stomach, as a smile came upon her face.

she nodded, "of course." she replied, "i wouldn't wanna be with anyone else, for once in my life i'm with someone who makes me feel safe and wanted." she smiled and kissed him softly.

he kissed her back before pulling away and resting his forehead against hers. his hand moving to the side of her neck, his thumb rubbing the side of her cheek softly. "no matter what happens when we're found we'll make it work, okay? or we'll at least try."

the couple stayed in the water a little longer before they got out. the two laid down against a flat space they had found, luna laid against kirin, her head on his chest, his fingers playing with her hair. they laid in silence for awhile before kirin began talking, he told luna about his life and the reason he was sent on this retreat. she was glad that he was opening up to her, before today he never really talked about anything that happened before they ended up on the island.

after drying off the two finally headed back to camp, ending the day with their friends.
