day twenty six!

the weather over the past several days has been either been hot or cold, today was one of the colder days. the group was sitting around each other under the tent, wearing long sleeves or using something to cover up. luna sat in between kirin and henry, she rested her head against the jocks arm, watching as he tossed a antacid over at ivan.

"wake up, taylor." kirin said, closing the bottle of antacids. ivan slightly jumped, becoming more awake, "did you just smite me with a antacid?" ivan asked.

"was trying to do you a favor, dude. look, if we crash right now, it'll be that much harder to fall asleep tonight, when it's even colder." kirin explained setting the bottle back into a bag.

"yo, it was just hot as hell yesterday. where is this polar vortex shit coming from, man?" scotty asked as he sat in the corner of the tent, his knees pulled to his chest, in a jacket and jeans. "well, the short answer to your question is the south south-east, but the more accurate response is that climate change is creating.. — "fat fucking yawn, damien." kirin interrupted henry, as he began to explain while playing with a deck of cards.

"new rule, no one's allowed to say or do anything boring right now while we're trying to stay awake. you know what? i got this. i'll be the, what you call it, the entertainment."

"girding the loins." ivan mumbled, grabbing the bottle of antacids.

"so, there's a bunch of super-hot nuns, right?.." kirin began to tell his joke but luna decided to tune him out this one time, pulling her knees to her chest she thought about getting out here and what it would be like. she didn't know what would happen, or what it would be like going back and seeing her father again. there was a small selfish part of her that didn't wanna leave or at least never return home. she would rather be with kirin, where ever that would be.

luna was brought back to reality when she felt kirin poke her in her side, resulting in her smacking his arm. "sweetheart, do have the lighter?"

she shook her head, "no, i haven't seen it."

"the pariah has it." ivan spoke.

"fucking asshole."

"hold on. how do we know that he has it?" raf asked, luna rolled her eyes in response, to be honest she couldn't stand raf ever since he pretty much tried to defend seth.

"fuck that motherfucker!" kirin yelled suddenly, standing up.

"wait." ivan said, standing up as well grabbing a jacket. "what, taylor? you gonna tell me to chill? you're honestly gonna tell me to stand down when that sicko fucko took what's ours?"

"not even remotely. yeah, i guess the cold day in hell thing is happening right now, on, like, several levels here 'cause right now we're on the same fucking page."

-

"it's fucking over for that fuck." kirin stated angrily as he and ivan led the march to seth's camp. ivan was just as angry as kirin. raf chased after kirin and ivan, "what the hell are we doing? are we not gonna talk about this?"

"what's there to talk about, rafe?"

"he violated two of us, then all of us. it's zero tolerance from here on out."

"fine, but are we not gonna take two seconds to figure out what we're gonna do?" raf questioned. "no!" everyone yelled, feeling pissed off.

the group arrived at seth's camp, kirin and ivan going ahead of everyone, luna following behind and the rest of the boys were following behind her.

seth was sleeping by a small fire he had made. kirin didn't hesitate as he roughly placed his foot against seth's chest waking him up. "where the fuck is it?" kirin questioned.

"what? where's what? where's what?" frantically asked as kirin and ivan stood over him.

"the lighter, shitbag."

"yeah, did you think you were, like, entitled to it or something? see if it's around." ivan ordered, luna listened and began searching around.

seth tried to get up but kirin kicked him back down, his foot resting on his chest.

"it's not in his bag."

luna and the rest of the boys watched as kirin kicked seth in his side.

"kirin, jesus." raf shouted.

kirin squatted down, "just say where it is."

"it's in my jeans. it's right there. in my cuff." seth admitted, pointing down towards his jeans. kirin moved and grabbed the lighter off of seth.

"clever fucking hiding spot." scotty said. "it's not a fucking hiding spot, man." seth replied, before kirin kicked him again in his back, causing seth to yell out in pain.

"kirin, come on, man. he's had enough." bo said. "shut your fucking mouth." kirin demanded in response as he put the lighter in his pocket.

"all right, we got what we came for." scotty said.

"look, i'm fucking sorry. i'm sorry, i'm sorry. look, i just thought that henry.. henry. i thought you'd be able to make a fire without it." seth explained.

"we got it. can we go now?" raf asked.

"you guys, look. huh, kirin? boosh!" josh yelled as he kicked sand onto seth. "eat sand, you bitch."

"josh.."

"josh, man, hey. please don't do it, man." seth pleaded as he began to stand up. kirin catching him before he could, "don't fucking go near him!" kirin yelled, putting seth in a chokehold.

"yo, chill the fuck out!" scotty yelled.

luna looked away, "kirin, come on, man." the boys tried to stop him but kirin didn't let go. josh kicking the sand into the fire seth had, putting it out.

"eat the sand, you fucking bitch." josh seethed.

"you're gonna kill him, man! we already fucking did this!"

"please henry, help me." seth begged his step brother.

"we got what we came for. can we fucking go now?" raf yelled. "let's get the fuck out of here." scotty said to bo.

luna looked back as kirin didn't stop, "kirin." she said her voice soft, "let's go." the boy made eye contact with her as he heard her voice, he immediately let seth go.
