Beautiful

Part 5

     It was Sunday routine in Cecily's family to go to park in evenings. Especially to Flossie-Cecily's cat. Around 4.30 P.M the family got into the car to reach their destination. Flossie was more like guide cat to Cecily. Flossie was Cecily's best friend and Cecily can be ensured of safety if Flossie is with her. The black and white cat seems fluffy but in real, it is a tigress if Cecily is concerned. On reaching the park, Cecily's parents- Ariel and James went towards their friends group while Cecily and Flossie started towards the pond to greet their duck friends.

   Around 5 P.M, Torin's family reached park. Hope was in Torin's arms while the elder couple went for a walk.

Hope: "Thor, I want to see the ducks"

Torin: "Ok. Let's go"

   Both the uncle and niece reached the pond and saw a fluffy little cat playing with the ducks with no one in sight. Hope wiggled out of Torin's arms and rushed towards the cat. On reaching near the cat, she slowly tip toed and picked it up from the back making the cat scream and wriggle in her hold which made Torin laugh. On hearing her cat's cries Cecily who went to get bread rushed towards the source of voice. Assuming herself, she stood infront of Hope with her hands on her hips.

Hope: "Hey, whoever you are, leave my cat now" She said in a little strict voice which made Hope pout and she left the cat down which sprinted towards Cecily. She picked Flossie up and petted her. Torin who saw that came near them. He was happy to meet Cecily.

Torin: "Hi Cecily. Can you recognise me?" Cecily went silent for sometime before a smile started appearing making Torin smile in return.

Cecily: "Torin. Am I right?" Torin chuckled hearing it while replying her with a yes.

Torin: "I'm sorry Cecily, it was my niece who took your cat just to play. Please don't mistake us"

Cecily: "Oh. No problem. I'm sorry. I thought it was some naughty kid who disturbs my cat always. Here, you can hold her" After calming Flossie she handed her to Hope who stepped forwards reluctantly and held the cat. The minute she touched the cat a silly grin was appearing on her face. Torin smiled seeing that.

Torin: "This is my 3 year old niece Hope" Saying he extended Hope's hand towards Cecily and made her do the same.

Hope: "Buttercup, this is Cecily. My new friend" The girls shook their hands. As Torin already informed about Cecily, Hope didn't ask anything about her.

Cecily: "Hi Hope. Nice to meet you and sorry for scolding you"

Hope: "It's okay" She replied shyly and the trio sat down there enjoying evening breeze. While Hope was busy with Flossie, the duo sat chatting casually about themselves.

   The duo's parents who were searching for them reached the pond eventually. They saw their daughter/son sitting and chatting happily with a boy/ girl.

Charlotte & Josiah: "Torin?"

Ariel & James: "Cecily?" The parents glanced at each other surprised while the said duo turned their head towards the voice which called them. On seeing & sensing their parents, they stood up and walked towards them. All the while Flossie was in Hope's arms in a more than comfortable position.
