You pulled your lips away from Olivia's lips just for a second to take a sip of air, and then you dug your hands into her thick, dark hair with even more force.

Olivia's lips were more insistent than ever, and her tongue was already at work. Her hands rested on your waist, gripping it tightly while yours tried to pull off the leather jacket she was wearing.

As soon as you managed to do so, you felt your back against the wall Olivia had pressed you against, and her hands began to go lower to your skirt as you heard something fall quite close by.

You literally out of the corner of your eye looked in the direction of the sound and saw Olivia's parents standing there completely stunned.

When you saw them, your hands immediately pushed Olivia away, and not even calculating strength so that she tripped over the floor clothes rack (since you were in the hallway next to the front door, having recently come from a date) and fell with a bang.

You immediately rushed to pick it up.

"I'm sorry, did you hurt yourself?"

"Baby what the...?!" She started and then she stopped as soon as she saw her parents, "Mom, Dad, how did you get here?"

"We came to visit you but it seems" Olivia's mother coughed delicately "bad timing"

The realization of what her parents had just seen dawned on you and you were thrown first into cold, then into fever and then you felt your cheeks burn and stared at the floor unable to lift your head in shame and embarrassment.

"I'm always glad to see you, of course, but didn't you want to warn me of your visit before silently showing up on our doorstep?"

"Actually, we were very much heard, but you two were too busy eating each other's faces to notice us," Olivia's father interjected.

You noticed that his wife poked him in the side afterwards, but you yourself just wanted to die of embarrassment

"And we texted you Olivia that we were coming an hour ago," Sophia said.

"You did?" Already you turned to Liv, sizzling her with a look.

"I didn't see it!" She protested.

"What kept you from reading our message?"

"She did!" At those words, Olivia pointed a finger at you.

"Oh my God" murmured Sophia.

There was an awkward pause, during which you stared at Olivia while her parents stomped around in the hallway, not really knowing what they should do.

"You know what, we should probably stop by your place tomorrow. And call half an hour in advance to make sure you'll be...khm...ready and in decent shape to receive guests" said Liv's dad.

"Okay," she didn't argue.

The degree of awkwardness was off the charts for everyone present, and you seem to have the most. Thank goodness you spotted them early enough and didn't move on to more drastic actions.

Olivia closed the door behind her parents and guiltily walked over to you and gently tapped her fingers on your wrist "they're gone, we can pick up where we left off"

But you yanked your hand away from her.

"Don't touch me."

"Baby..."

How could she be so calm? By your standards, there had just been the most real disaster.

You turned away and started pacing away, still burning with shame but now you were also angry. Liv hurried after you but you walked up to your bedroom and loudly announced to her

"You're sleeping on the couch tonight."

And closed the door right in her face.

"Y/n!"

You were adamant and Olivia was like a cat being kicked out of her favorite room

"Baby, I'm really sorry about what happened, I didn't mean to! But, let me remind you that I was busy kissing you passionately in the back seat of the car on the way here, pissing off the driver and I didn't have time for my phone."

"It's embarrassing Liv!"

"Look, they know we're not 16 or something plus we didn't even get to the best part!"

You couldn't take it anymore and dusted off her words and the intonation with which she spoke them from the other side of the closed door.

You just couldn't stay mad at her for more than a few minutes. You loved too much this charming girl who was your girlfriend and whom you were willing to forgive even that.

You opened the door, letting Olivia inside.

"God I love you so much even though sometimes you do this shit."

"Not just me,when we do" she replied, but you could tell by the look on her face that she was pleased that she was able to change your anger into mercy

"Yes, I definitely like it better that way" you whispered with a smile, putting your hands on her hips and pressing your lips to her neck to finally get to the most interesting and long awaited part of the evening, though making sure that the door to the room was tightly closed before doing so.
