You smiled nervously as the teacher introduced you to the new class. Your family moved here, and you came to a new school in March, with only a few months left before graduation. It's not a good time to be joining a new class.

While your teacher was saying something you tried to look normal while the other students were openly looking at you. You saw some boys and girls whispering and catching mocking looks, but you tried to be cool.

After all, you promised yourself that you would become a better version of yourself. More confident and liberated. But at that moment you just wanted to be invisible.

Finally, the teacher pointed to your seat, and you were relieved to sit there, trying not to look anyone in the eye.

The first class was math class. You knew it well, but whether nerves or something else prevented you from concentrating and when the teacher kindly asked if you knew what the answer was in the problem the only thing you could squeeze out was a quiet "No, sorry, I do not know.

The teacher nodded understandingly and added something about that you will quickly catch up with the other guys, but you did not pay attention to this as right behind you heard someone's voice "Wow, she is not only not beautiful, but also stupid.

And these words cut your heart. You had hopes that here you will make a great company of friends and cease to be a mouse. But I guess that wasn't meant to be.

When math finally ended, you could hear other students whispering behind your back, but you were fine until the whole class heard a loud

"Hey, Y/n!"

You turned around and saw a tall, slender blonde girl with a killer smile on her lips walk up to you

"What are you, stupid Y/n? Couldn't answer such a simple question from a math teacher?" The blonde continued and there was a sneer in her eyes

"No, I was just confused," you replied.

"What are you whispering? Speak up, we'll all listen, won't we guys?" Said the blonde.

"I was confused" you repeated, but the hesitation in your voice gave away your uncertainty

"Wow. Poor thing," the blonde came close to you and you smelled an expressive scent of perfume. It felt like she poured an entire can on herself.

"And show me what you wrote down," with these words the blonde girl snatched your notebook and began to leaf through it to the friendly laughter of the whole class

"God, you have crooked handwriting. Look at this, guys" laughed the blonde, showing everyone your notebook.

"Really? Throw it to me and the guys we want to laugh at this dumbass too" said some handsome jock in the crowd.

"Sure baby" with these words your notebook flew across the classroom to the jock and his friends.

You tried to get closer and take the notebook back, but you couldn't. Tears began to come to your eyes from feelings of shame and your own helplessness.

"Eric, throw that notebook back" said the blonde in a commanding tone.

"Catch it," replied the jock and threw your notebook to her, but the blonde took her time catching it.

The notebook fell with a loud noise on the floor of the classroom and the blonde made a surprised face "accidentally" stepped on it with her shoe.

"Oh, sorry, that was an accident," she said, looking straight into your eyes, and that was the last straw.

Tears started pouring out of your eyes on their own and there was nothing you could do about it. The students started teasing you even louder and it was unbearable
