Y/F/B = Your favorite band
House: Any
You and Bill had gotten pretty close over the past few months and learned quite a bit about each other, which in turn made it far too easy for the both of you to develop romantic feelings for the other. You had a good sense of camaraderie and and a lot in common, all good grounds for a solid relationship, but Bill was still terrified to ask you out.
The first reason being that he didn't he want to ruin your friendship, he valued your company too much to lose it. And the other reason being that he was still traumatized after being rejected by Emily Tyler in fifth year. He knew he needed to get over this fear, which had held him back far too long. He kept telling himself that there was nothing to be afraid of. You weren't Emily Tyler. You were Y/N L/N, the best thing to ever enter his life.
After realizing this, he made up his mind: he was going to ask you out, come hell or high water.
He clutched a pair of Y/F/B tickets in his hand as he approached you. "Y/N," he said, attracting your attention immediately.
You smiled at the sound of his voice that was ever-so-sweet and turned to greet him. "Hey, Bill! I was wondering when you'd show up," you said, playfully.
The corners of his mouth turned up at your playful attitude. "I have something I need to ask you, if you don't mind."
You nodded, expression turning fro playfulness to intrigue. "Of course, ask away."
"I heard that Y/F/B is coming to town this weekend," he began.
You nodded. "I know. I wanted to see them so bad, but I wasn't able to get tickets," you said, looking quite dejected.
"Well, it just so happens that I managed to snag a couple of tickets. The only problem is that I don't have anyone to go with," he explained. By now your eyes had grown wide and you were practically bursting with excitement, waiting for him to ask you the fated question. "So... I was wondering, would you like to go with me?"
"Yes!" You practically screeched, bouncing on the balls of your feet.
He laughed happily, feeling a rush of confidence. "Perfect. But do you mind if I take you out to dinner beforehand?"
You stopped bouncing as your heart skipped a beat. "Oh, so it's going to be like a date?" You asked, a glint of hope in your eyes.
Bill shifted nervously, scratching the back of his neck. "Y-yeah, I thought it could be. I really like you and figured this would be a cool first date. That is if you want it to be. Or if you even want to date me. I mean, you don't have to. We could just go as friends, but I just thought I'd ask-"
The sound of you giggling stopped his rambling. "I would love to date you, Bill," you said.
He blushed before letting out a sigh of relief and running a hand through his hair. "Thank Godric."
