"I say we go to Pearl's..." Damon trailed off as he boarded up the window that was broken. "...and annihilate the idiot that attacked us last night."
"Yeah? And then what, turn to the rest of their house of vampires and say, oops, sorry?" Stefan said sarcastically whilst staring into the fireplace that was lit.
Elena shook her head. "I can't believe you two made a deal with her."
"It's more like a helpful exchange of information," Damon replied with a shrug. "It's not like we got a choice. She's scary."
Nate hummed in agreement. "But, hey. Can we stop with the wetalk? She wanted him to help not me."
The Eldest Salvatore grinned as he ruffled his brother's hair playfully. "Aw, Nathan we're in this together."
"No, we're not."
Damon rolled his eyes and carried on talking. "Besides, she's gonna help me get Katherine back."
The Gilbert girl scoffed. "Of course she is. Damon gets what he wants, as usual, no matter who he hurts in the process."
He glared at her. "You don't have to be snarky about it."
"I woke up this morning to learn that all the vampires have been released from the tomb." Elena snapped at him. "I've earned snarky."
Damon sat down on the couch with a groan. "Ugh. How long are you gonna blame me for turning your birth mother into a vampire?"
"I'm not blaming you, Damon." She smiled sarcastically, crossing her arms over her chest. "I've accepted the fact that you're a self-serving psychopath with no redeeming qualities."
"Ouch."
Stefan smirked, amused. "This isn't being very productive. We're gonna figure out a way to deal with Pearl and the vampires, yeah?"
Without saying another word Damon stood up and walked out, signalling Nate to follow him.
"Right, better go see what he wants." He says and heads towards the door. "Bye."

"Hey, break that and I'll rip your head off." The tattooed Salvatore warned Damon as he saw him fidgeting with the clock that was hung up on the wall.
"I won't, jeez," Damon muttered and smirked when Stefan walked in with a sour face. "Hunting party?"
Stefan stalked towards the door, not sparing either of his brothers a glance and replied. "That guy did a number on me last night when he stabbed me. I gotta get my strength back."
