{ Chapter 5 }

Steve's POV :

I watched Dustin turn around and walk back over to his friends in the lounge ,then I turned my head back over to the dishes and continued to wash them in a comfortable silence. I put the dishes away and sat down on my couch next to Mike, then just to annoy them, I picked up the remote and started continuously swapping the channel.

I got many loud complaints from the 'Children' , I chuckled and handed the remote over to Mike, who I got an annoyed glare from, I just placed my hand on my chest and acted hurt " Why could you possibly be so mad at me Mike?? What did I do to deserve this treatment?.. " I wiped non-existent tears off my eyes.

Mike's eyes lit up and he stuffed a laugh, El and Lucas doing the same well Dustin had a huge smile on his face, I could see it even tho he was covering his mouth looking as if he'd explode into laughter .I took my hand off my chest a gave Mike a fake sad face, we all laughed while Mike softly punched my arm " Well next time DON'T. CHANGE. THE. DAMN. CHANNEL. " He said in mock anger while laughing his head off. I gasped and said " That is NO WAY to talk to your mother " Then I 'angrily' stomped away up the stairs .

I chuckled happy I was able to get rid of some of the lingering tension between them, and opened my bedroom door, I walked into my room and closed the door " You in here Munson? " I looked around my room, then my eyes landed on my open window. I walked over to my open window and looked outside, ' Hm.. he better be back soon or I'll close this fucking window..Its making my room cold ' I walked over to my desk to check the time ' OH SHIT- FUCK ROBINS GONNA KILL ME ' I panicked and rushed over to my closet, grabbing different clothes and throwing my current ones off and changing into the new ones. Then I quickly grabbed a comb and my car keys.

I checked the time again and it was 30 minutes till the start of both our shifts, I quickly grabbed a pencil and some paper and wrote a note for Eddie, I picked it up and placed it on my bed. ( This is what the note said ) :

I rushed out of my room and down the stairs, " Bye guys I've gotta go to work- I'll be back at 2:30 so be good- " I hurriedly said to all of them, Will was about to speak but, I interrupted him " Will If you need a ride just ask your brother. That goes for all of you, Bye have a good day! and don't fuck up my house or else I'll find you and force you to fix whatever you did to it " I glared at all of them menacingly , Lucas elbowed Dustin and they both nodded, Mike said " Yup- Yup definitely, right Guys? "... They all nodded, El looked confused, but she still nodded. Dustin then added " Yea! uh-huh, we promise " all of them agreed with each other.

I sighed but eyed them suspiciously with one of my eyebrows raised, I then looked away and stopped making that face. I sped past them toward the door, saying see you later. I avoided Jonathan and Nancy since I didn't want to interrupt them, with whatever they were doing. I rushed out my door and sprinted to my car, unlocking it, opening the door, and jumping into the drivers side.
