{ Chapter 8 }

Trigger warning : Swearing and Steddie

Eddie's POV :

I quickly sprinted away from the hospital as my muscles started feeling strained and wobbly, I rushed over to a tree and fell over panting ,and groaned loudly ' this day didn't go as planned..ugh forget it, I'll just avoid going near those kids till I'm ready to revel myself.. ' I breathed heavily as I laid on the soft grass underneath the shade of the tall tree. I sat up and leaned my back against the tree letting out an exaggerated sigh and looking around making sure those kids didn't follow me outside.

I wiped a few drops of sweat off my forehead and took breaths as I leaned into the tree a bit more, my muscles felt more relaxed as I closed my eyes and relaxed into the tree, I slightly pulled my hood off my head and looked around as my stomach let out a low grumble of hunger. I groaned annoyed and patted my stomach as it let out another grumble, I rolled my eyes and looked around. My eyes landed on a pack of dogs chasing a few cats, the cats spilt up as the pack of dogs spilt up and ran after a random cat.

I stood up and decided to chase after one of the cats as well, I ran over to the direction I saw one of the stray cats go into, leading myself to the back of the hospital I saw two dogs cornering a small cat. The small brown and white spotted cat hissed at the dogs and tried to scratch them with their long and pointy claws but missed, Its golden eyes flicked to me then it slipped between the two dogs and ran behind me. My stomach growled as I looked at the two dogs turning around with anger written all over their faces.

The sides of my mouth curved down as my blood thirsty instincts took over and my eyes locked onto the two angry barking dogs standing in front of me, I launched myself forward and knocked over the two dogs, biting harshly into one of their necks and draining the blood out of it quickly as my eyes shut, the other dog slipped out of my grasp and ran away whimpering. I felt the blood run over my tongue and down the back of my neck as the black dog struggled underneath my grasp, after a few long minutes it stopped struggling and its body went limp as it let out its last whimper of fear.

 I sucked out the last of its blood and stood up turned around and opened my eyes then wiped off the horrible tasting blood from my lips, I heard a loud bang and walked to the side of the hospital to saw two cats running past the front of the hospital with 4 dogs chasing them and disappearing out of my sight. I sighed and pulled my hood above my head and chased after the annoying group of animals.

{ 10 Minutes later, Current time in the story :  1: 42 pm }

I looked around as my eyebrows furrowed and my expression became a confused one, I sighed as I wiped my hands on my blood stained hoodie and started walking down the street mumbling curses to myself in annoyance " Fuck I did it again..Fucking hell! What the hell happened to me?? " I sped away from the blood-less, limp, dog bodies on the ground behind me and turned a corner. I walked past a few shops before turning down a narrow alleyway and leaned against a wall to let out a shaky breath, I leaned my head up enough to touch the wall and lowly slid down the wall, putting my hands into my hair and softly tugged at it.

I groaned as I knew I couldn't take off my hoodie but I couldn't walk around looking for Steve's house in my bloody hoodie, my grip on my hair tightened as I groaned and slammed my head on the wall. I stood up slowly and peeked out of the alleyway and looked left then right, I folded my arms over my chest as I strolled down the street toward what I assumed to be the direction of Steve's house.
