Most of thier day consisted of exploring the town. Max and El went shopping. The boys checked out some other shops. They all stoped at a local café to grab something for lunch. They planned on going back to the beach house for some swimming.
El and Max were excited as they just bought bathing suits. Max ran out first past the boys and into the water. Mike waited on a beach chair outside of the water. Shirtless and in swim trunks that were very 80s colored.
El walked out in her new bikini. A Black Lacey strapless top piece. And a very Lacey thong like bottom.
El smiled walking up behind Mike and tossed a bottle on sunscreen over him. "Lotion me please?" She asked. Mike looked up and was completely flustered.
"Uh--Yeah--" he stuttered standing up.
El turned around and he squeezed some onto his hand and rubbed it on all of her exposed skin. El shivered feeling him touch her skin. She didn't think it could get worse until she felt his hot breath against her ear "Your gonna drive men crazy walking around in this El..." He whispered.
El gasped a little but smiled "Maybe that's the plan" She said softly and he hummed.
She heard Mike groan a bit, trying to hurry up with her sunscreen.
"Having problems Wheeler?" She asked smiling and turning around to face him.
"Big problems" he nodded.
El happened to glance down and could instantly tell what the problem was.
El giggled looking back up at him "you should probably go deal with that" She whispered before running off

This kept up all day. The constant flirting. They were always close but they never flirted. El didn't know if it was just cause of the summer beach house but it kept going.
El was eating a popsicle licking it every slowly while having direct eye contact with Mike. She could see him fidgeting in his chair making her laugh.
Dustin flew through the door "party,?!"
"What?" Both El and Mike asked.
"There's a party tonight, it's summer break, we should go for the free drinks.
El laughed and clapped her hands on agreement.

Max and El kicked Mike out of the room and got ready together.
"You sure you and Wheeler aren't hooking up?"
"Yes Max. We aren't. As much as I want to jump his bones lately, we can't"
"El.. you know he loves you .. he can not stop staring at you"
"I love him too.. but everything went wrong once we dated"
"El I just want you to be happy, and I think dating Mike would be good for you this time"
El sighed shaking her head.

"Are you and Hopper seriously not doing anything?" Lucas asked.
"What do you mean?" Mike asked throwing on a flannel shirt.
"Sex?"
"What?! No! We're just friends!"
"Mike... You two can't take your eyes off eachother.. and your all touchy"
"I know... But we haven't even kissed... I won't push it on her.. she knows how I feel.. but she thinks we're better off as friends"
