El had woken up in the middle night cuddled into Mike's side. She smiled kissing his nose as he slept. She quietly got up and untangled herself from him. She went to a laundry basket grabbing one of mikes shirts and sweat pants putting them on. Just as she was about to leave she felt arms wrap around her. "Where are you going?" He whispered.
"Home. Hoppers probably worried"
"Tell him your at Max's ... Please stay..." He whined.
"Mike... There's school tomorrow.. I need to go home so I can change.."
Mike's groaned stumbling back to the couch exhausted.
El smiled walking over and kissing him softly before he laid down "I'll see you in a few hours, Kay?"
Mike mumbled laying down grabbing a blanket and El laughed.
El made it home, quietly sneaking into her house.
"Where have you been?" She heard Hopper mumble from the kitchen.
Shit.
"Sorry. I was at Mike's. We were studying, we fell asleep, lost track of time"
"And your wearing his clothes because yours got lost?" He asked rasiig an eyebrow.
Shit.
"I was cold, and these were the warmest I could find"
Hopper shook his head.
"Look. I'm just happy you and Wheeler are back to being friends. But be careful please.."
El nodded running up to her room before he could ask anymore questions.

Tuesday Morning. Max always picked El up on Tuesdays. El smiled twirling around in a yellow dress she found, With a Brown belt tying it together in the middle. She had her hair down and wavy and jumped into max's car.
"Why do you look so happy?" Max asked.
El shurgged "I'm just happy I have you guys back"
"Oh my god El!" Max screamed.
"What?" El asked.
"Your neck!"
El quickly pulled down the mirror to the car visor looking at her neck her eyes going wide. Mike had marked her, in several spots at that.
"Who?" Max asked.
El smiled shaking her head "not telling" she laughed.
They got to the school seeing the boys waiting for them. El walked up and could feel everyone's eyes on her neck.
"Guys stop! It's not a big deal!" She yelled.
"Not a big deal?! You have at least seven Hickey's on your neck El!" Dustin yelled.
"Who's the guy?!" Lucas asked.
"Yeah El. Who's the guy marking you up they he owns you?" Mike asked with a smirk.
El smiled at him shrugging "wouldn't you like to know"
Mike shook his head "Better not be Troy"
El laughed "No.. this guy... He's a keeper"
"Are you gonna tell us who?!" Will yelled.
"Nope!" El laughed running off in front of the group.
Mike smiled watching her go.
"It was you wasn't it?" Max whispered.
"What?" Mike asked shocked.
"Don't worry she didn't tell me... But... If you hurt her.. I swear to god I'll kill you! She finally seems happy"
Mike didn't see a reason in arguing so he just nodded.
El went to her locker pulling out her makeup trying to cover as much as she could.
"Hey! Your ruining all my hard work!" Mike whined coming up to her locker.
El rolled her eyes "oh so you planned this?"
"I'm just marking what's mine" He smirked.
He smiled looking over at him.
"Yours?" She asked.
Mike smiled reaching for her hand "wasnt that my option? Either stay friends or be together. And I think I showed you my answer last night"
El smiled up at him "I just didn't know if you'd have any regrets " she said softly.
"Eleanor Hopper... That was the best night of my life.. I swear... " He whispered.
El smiled and nodded "mine too"
Mike smiled down at her "So what do you say Eleanor Hopper, would you wanna be my official girlfriend?" He asked softly.
"I would love that Michael Wheeler" she smiled and leaned up to kiss him.
Mike smiled pulling her close kissing her softly back.
"I'm sorry I wasted so many years not giving us a chance" Mike whispered.
El shurgged "were together now. That's all that matters"

Lunch time came and El and Mike didn't even bother to keep their secret. It would've been obvious soon anyways.
Everyone was at the table expect for El since her last class was on the top floor across from the cafeteria. She smiled basically skipping over to the table. Mike smiled watching her. Then she dropped her stuff on her seat and sat on Mike's lap making him laugh wrapping his arms around her. She smiled grabbing his face and kissing him. "hi..." She whispered.
"Hello" He smiled.
El smiled moving and sliding her chair closer and sitting down.
"So like... Anyone gonna explain what's going on?" Dustin asked.
Max laughed shaking her head "looks like these two nerds finally decided to get together"
"Holy shit! You have El the Hickey's?!" Lucas yelled causing el to laugh.
"Didn't know you had it in you!" Lucas laughed trying to high five Mike but he just shook his head.
Mike smiled wrapping an arm around El watching her basically eat all his french fries.
El smiled looking up at him "sorry..."
"It's okay.. I'm not really hungry anyways." He smiled kissing the top of her head.
"Okay, I approve of this, like a lot. But can we not with the mushy stuff" Max laughed.
"We had to basically watch you and Lucas have sex everyday when you started dating" Mike laughed.
"Did not!" Max yelled.
"Im officially dating the hottest girl at school, I'm gonna show her affection " Mike smirked looking over at El.
"You are?! I thought we were dating though?!" El gasped.
Mike shook his head laughing "shut up"
El laughed kissing his cheek.
"We should all hang out tonight? Ice cream?" She asked.
"I thought I've cream was Friday nights?" Will asked.
"Okay well... How about a movie at our place?" El asked.
"Sounds good!" Max exclaimed and the rest of them agreed.
"Around 630. Can't be too late. It's a school night"
