The concept of reincarnation was no stranger to me. You could find it everywhere you looked in the the twenty-first century; television, novels, manga, and animation. Ironically, reincarnation or transmigration was my favorite trope.

I ran and ran till the constant sprinting scorched my lungs. The cold breeze knocked my hood off, and every dry leaf crunched under my feet. My icy cheeks were covered in hot tears.
'I need to get out here. I need to get out here. I need to get out of here. GET OUT OF HERE' I repeated the sentence non-stop. My parents' cries kept playing like a broken record in my head as my thoughts raced with memories of them. They're not my real parents, so stop crying. Stop mourning. After pausing for a moment to collect my breath, I finally had the urge to throw up while holding on to a tree for support.
"Kraa..." Shawn wearily croaked at me. He took off from my pocket to my shoulder and started to preen my hair.
"Shawn, d-don't look dear... I think I will--Blaargh!" Shawn kept grooming my hair with its beak as if to comfort me while I kept spilling my guts out on the ground.
I collapsed to the dirt from exhaustion. Where I was headed was a mystery to me. I swear I can hear every organic creature from every nook and cranny, as my vision gave the impression that the globe was spinning. I was at my breaking point.
It is pathetic of me, I know but those memories, and emotions are turning me into a mess. I was good at hiding my emotions... what changed it now? Why do I feel like shit? I'm supposed to be able to control it. I... must...
I felt how my body started to shut down. My vision started to become obscure.
Before my body went limp, I caught sight of a pair of glowing green eyes, staring directly at me.
"What the... cuss?" Everything went dark as pair of strong arms caught my unconscious body.

A gentle gust of wind went through my long hair. Confusedly looking around with sleepy eyes, I notice something that added more confusion to me. How did I get here in the Moriarty manor? Did it not burn?
In the corner of my eye, I notice a shadowy figure moving not far from where I am standing. Wait, isn't it where Louis and that blond boy's bedroom reside? For some odd reason, I felt my bare feet automatically follow the dark figure. Upon reaching the room, I see the small silhouette belonging... William? My jaw dropped at the scene.
How am I seeing myself...?
"Hey! What are you doing here?!" I almost whisper-shouted at the dirty blond boy who for an odd reason, did not seem hear me. Confused, I look at my see-through hand which appeared to be feminine, and sense how my long strand of hair covering my shoulders. Gasping, I touch my face and body to confirm my suspicion.
I'm in my old body!
"How convenient" A voice broke which startled both William and me. Something metallic clatters on the wooden floor.
