There were many more missions, and I encountered the team on almost all of them, as if it were planned, and knowing Thawne, it probably was.
I was stealing a shipment of weapons from Wayne Corp, ugh, when I got hit with a batarang. I hadn't encountered Batman since I had "died" so I turned around surprised, worried that my cover may get blown that night. Fortunately for me it wasn't batman, but with a quick once over of the uniform I realized who I was looking at, my replacement.
"Are you fucking kidding me!" I yelled.
I then threw a birdarang, (my own creation) at him.
He dodged just as I had and replied.
"What?" Innocently.
I knew Bruce had always wanted a boy but seriously? I hadn't even been gone a month.
"Good to know you can replace one of your own so easily." I said snidely to the rest of the team.
"We did not replace Robin." This came from Kalduhr.
"Really, then why is there a new birdy so soon after the old one lost his wings?" I replied.
"Don't you dare talk about Robin!" Wally yelled coming at me. I saw him coming and dodged. I sent out a net, trapping him for the moment.
"I can just vibrate out of this!" He lied.
"No you cant, you'll just get a bloody nose and stop trying like you always do." It was a reflex, we had been friends for so long, teasing him was second nature to me.
He stopped struggling with the net,
"What did you say ?"
I ignored him and focused on the rest of the team.
"Come on Wonder Bread, you afraid to fight a girl?" I taunted.
He pulled out his knife and came at me. I pulled out one of my ekershima sticks and blocked. Then I turned on the electricity and shocked him. I wouldn't have done that to anyone else on the team, but for him I would make an exception. I looked over and noticed Wally freeing himself, and Aqualad was advancing on me so I decided it was time to make my exit. Before I left though I ran over and planted one on Wally.
"Bye Flash Boy."
