Fish and Bones

Taehyung ordered the few light dishes.
The two of them were still talking, they had plenty topics as usual. You were sitting quietly, wishing you could magically disappear from this place. It didn't happen.

He still looks like himself. Things weren't changing much.. Any time you remember how he broke your heart in high school.. Your heart was aching. He was the first love you ever encounter. For a moment, you thought you will be with him forever.. 

Fate had another plan. Did you regret it?

To love him, no.. he gave you happiness for short amount of time. Even if it ended badly.

No matter how much you think of it, you couldn't figure the reason he stop seeing you..
Maybe you didn't need to think hard about it, maybe he just didn't see you that way..
It was only a couple of kiss, probably meant nothing to him.

Taehyung and Jungkook laughed about something. You looked up to them, it was like the past all over again. Only this time, you won't follow them anymore..

The food was served, you were glaring at Taehyung unhappily, he must be did this on purpose! Three out of the five dishes were the menu you hate the most.

Why would he bother to ask you to have dinner with him, if he planned to keep you starve.

You took a little dishes, sulking. If Jimin was here, he will only order what you like to eat. He will peel this damned shrimp for you. You were eating in silence, cursing your brother.

"Here.." Jungkook put the fish slice on your plate. You dislike to eat fish because you can't separate the bones. He remember that..

"She can do it on her own. If she can't let her be hungry." Taehyung snorted.

You were murmuring garbage as you lowered your head, didn't want to look at both of them.
Jungkook kept peeling the fish for you as he talked with Taehyung.

"How long you will stay here?"

"Two or three months."

"Just stay in Y/n apartment." Jungkook was considering to buy his own property since he will went back and forth in this city, "She needs guardian. My mom worried she lives as she pleases." "She is quite imbecile after all."

You rolled your eyes, "I'm fine living alone." You lived alone for a year. It works just fine.

"I can see where it leads." Taehyung retorted.

"Tch, why are you suddenly care about how i live?" He was best brother ( in sarcasm) that never once phoned you unless he wants something from you.

Yes, he never called.

"This little brat." Taehyung snorted, his phone rang, "Shit, dad calls." Taehyung hurriedly picked up the phone, leaving the table.

You were really wanna choke him to die.
You could feel Jungkook gaze was on you now.
Ignoring him you were playing with your phone.
Scrolling through your sinstagram feed.

"You should eat more.. Are you not eating well since you live alone?" He asked. You were a bit skinny. Not that he wanna complain, you were as beautiful as ever.

"Hmm." You put down your phone. Continue to eat in small bites again. Jungkook looked at you fondly, you already grow up now..

A little girl who used to be following him around wasn't so small anymore. Your hair was longer, your body, and your eyes are not as innocent as it used to be. You had became a woman.

"How are you, hmm?" You were trying so hard to ignore him. He found it was cute to see you all pouting and grumpy.

"Great." You answered shortly.
"The one in the photos with Park Jimin..
It was you, right?" He could recognize you even if you change you appearance, your adult like style.

"He is my boyfriend." He should understand what it meant. You had a boyfriend now!

"You are still nineteen, don't rush to do things with him.." From the photos in the media, it was quite.. adult kind of relationship.

A passionate one. He couldn't say it didn't bother him to see you with another male.

"Tsk, I was rushed myself when i thought i-"
I was the one who will end up with you, "Nevermind." Not caring about your feeling, he dated another girl. He was your first in everything. Your first love, your first kiss.

Jungkook understood your attitude now was caused by his own. That time.. he was thinking he will take care of you for a life time too. You were the only girl he had eyes on, as for the age gap.. he didn't think much of it. He was sure both of the family will bless you two.

Until Taehyung said the opposite.

"How is your girlfriend?" You asked. So that he remembered how heartless he broke your heart. Taehyung said Jungkook was seeing his college friend and it was probably serious relationship.

"She is fine."  So they still together..

Jungkook stretched his arm to rub your head.
You were thinking too much, "I'm sure she is fine. We are not together anymore." He cleared his answer. Jungkook couldn't give his heart to someone else..

"..oh.."

"Very nice of you to ask." You were not nice at all. You remembered all the time you did cursing her from taking Jungkook for you. And all sort horrible wishes to make her disappear.. Until you realize it was dumb. The one who choose her was Jungkook. And he chose to abandon you.

Taehyung sat back on his seat. Dad was asking if he already met you. This and that.
There was tense atmosphere on the table.
Were these two arguing about something?
Well, he wanna see that.

"Call mom sometimes, she missed you." Taehyung said, "Mom said hi."

"Mmkay." You were the most heartless daughter ever. You were busy with college and all, you only called if you ran out the money in your account which was rarely happened, so in short, you never call.

"So where are we again?" Taehyung want to continue to diss you, "They won't be happy okay if they know you date Park Jimin." He was referring to your parents. The guy had quite reputation even in the place where were came from.

"They don't mind you date a whore I'm sure they will be fine with Jimin. I'm already done. Can i leave first?" You asked. You had lost your appetite due this non stop torture tense.

"No. Sit back and wait until me and Jungkook done." There was still plenty foods on the table and they were eating and talking.

Bore you out.
It was almost 9 PM when they were done.
You were already so sleepy listening to their conversation. Jungkook drove back to the apartment. He was good at memorizing street.
