The Man Next Door

Jimin massaged his head, hearing his mother yelling through the phone. He already neglected her call for two days, he couldn't possibly do more days, she possibly came banging the front door.
"I called the Kims, they didn't seem happy."
Mrs Park never bowed deep in her life, and now she did because her son made a big fuss.

What's she worried the most now was the fact Jimin might want his family get back together. She couldn't stay still, "Are you out of your mind? I already told you not to involve with their family again. Do you know how embarrassed me and

your dad to Kim family? They are thinking you played their daughter." There was no better candidate to be married off to him other than them, "They want to annul the engagement. I can't even defend you because i also wanna hit you right now. You made me so upset you know!"

"I'm sorry. I will call them."
"Jiminie, Mom only want you to live happily. You have found the person." "We can still fix this and made those ungrateful people disappear. Me and your dad will help you." It wasn't impossible, as long as Jimin agree.

"Momo is my daughter.. I can't do that.. This time let me handle it myself." He promised.
"You are always soft hearted, Jimin." She already knew Jimin would say that..

Saeyoung put the files on the desk in the living room, there were tons of them. The office temporarily moved here. Jimin could not leave you alone. There was so many reporter downstairs. Jimin was considering to bring you to his place. It was much safer and there won't be media bothering you.

"How is Miss Y/n doing?"

"Not very well." He managed to persuade you for eating a bit, "She is sleeping now."

"I'm sorry." Saeyoung told him about the questions you asked.

"She should need to hear them, too.. Thank you for telling her the truth.." It was as painful as it seems to see you in your state. This was his fault.
"Mr. Park, you also need to eat."

"I already." He ate a little too. He wish he could persuade you to eat more in dinner time.

"We are tracking the person who send the picture. I will tell you as soon i hear from them." It was strange how neat it covered.

Whoever did this wasn't a simple person.
There was only one person in his mind.
The man next door.

"Good. Which one files is urgent? I will do them first." In the time like this he had to keep his composure. Many people relies on him.

He was their pillar of stability, if the main pillar was collapsed. The rest will crumble down.

Jungkook rolled his eyes to see Taehyung name displayed on screen again. Two days in a row. He must be hit a jackpot.

"I'm busy." He said as soon as he picked up.

"How busy you could be? Couldn't be busier than lovely Mr Park." Taehyung snickered, "Do you like my gift?" The gift that he packed neatly. Stuff like this was always thrilling.

"You did that?" Jungkook frowned. He was going too far with it.

"Hm, i have someone eyeing them." Taehyung said in low tone.

"Taehyung." Did he see what people say about you in the media? Did he even read the news? Jungkook can't reach you either, no one opened the door for him, his best guess was Jimin with you.

"You think my mother will let her to be slandered like this? She is her precious daughter. They will break up soon." "I'll make sure they did." Ah, this crazy person.

"Stop it." Jungkook warned him.

"What? Don't you want to date my sister. I'm helping you now." He had no sense of guilty.
"This is not how i want to be help. Do you realize what you are doing?" You were hurt.

"You lost her for the sake of our friendship.
I will return Y/n to you for the sake of our friendship too."

"For the last time, stop it." Jungkook hung up the call. It was very wrong of him to ask Taehyung for a help. He ended hurting you instead of dating you.

"Tch, ungrateful bastard. He will thank me later after she gets my sister." He cared about nothing.
"I'm leaving." Throwing gaze all around them to make sure no one follows.

"Thank you for your cooperation." Taehyung gave the man in front of him thick envelope.
"I don't accept money." The man refused.

"Why? You could put good use of it." "Accept it as my good intentions. Maybe if i need help, you could also help me in the future."

"There is no such a thing. I only did this for my own purposes." Stabbing Park Jimin with his own knife.

"So.. you like the woman?" Taehyung raised his eyebrows up and down.

"I don't need to answer you."

"You know you can't never escape from me that now we shared a secret." Taehyung playfully tilted his head. Namjoon looked at the guy, he had no respect for him.

"If you so bored with you life, you can try, I'll end you right here, right now. I'm good at burying people alive.. and I'll make sure no one is going to recognize your body."

"Geez, you take me too serious."

Jimin rubbed your head. You sleep so soundly.
You couldn't get a bit sleep for two nights in a row so today your body finally gives up.

"Is Momo okay?" Jimin immediately picked up the phone after seeing it was Gyeoul. Everything was a mess. He can't call Momo from here since he didn't want to pour a salt on your wound. At least until he confirm you were okay with him seeing Momo..

"She is.. I'm calling because i see the news.. Sorry, I should had not call you that day.." The media was nonstop calling her too, she had no idea where they got her number. Jimin told her not to go to the office in the mean time

"The decision is all mine. I'm the one who want to be in Momo's life." To finally able to cherish the his child.

"How is your fiancé?" She saw you in the news. From head to toe you were spotless. The whole appearance was exceptionally beautiful, no wonder Jimin could fall in love with you.

Moreover, you were also come from a wealthy family. They showed Kim International Group profile too. Some said it was two powerful family join forces. Their stocks were raising up.
