DAILY SONG CHOICE: OH, PRETTY WOMAN - ROY ORBISON

(May have to replay song a couple of times)

Y/n's POV:

"What the fuck do you want, Robin?!" I whisper-yell at him.

He's been throwing pencil top erasers at me for the longest time and it was irritating me so funking badly.

"Wanna skip?" He clicks his tongue.

I turn my body around to face him.

"Why..?"

"Dunno, just bored, kinda just feel like leaving and getting something to eat."

"Then go do that yourself, why do you want me to go with you?" I question, furrowing my brows.

"Well you seemed bored too, so I'm doing you a favor." Robin shrugs.

"Fine, whatever." I give in, raising my hand to go to the restroom.

"Yes, Ms. Y/L/N?" The teacher asked.

"May I go to the bathroom?"

"Yes you may."

Robin also raised his hand. "Yes Mr. Arellano?"

"I also have to go."

"Hurry up." The teacher sighs, getting back to his work.

As I pass the desks, I overheard a conversation. "I bet they're gonna go fuck." A few girls mumble.

"Shut the fuck up you cheeky little virgin princess. That's none of your fucking business, and it never will be. So just stay quiet, okay?" I spoke up, all of a sudden choosing to stand up for myself.

The girls obviously didn't see it coming, being shocked when they heard me.

I walked out of the class, rage burning inside of me, then saw Robin following behind me.

"What was that back there?" He smirks, catching up to me.

"Nothing. I just hate when girls talk about me." Crossing my arms, I take a turn, walking into another hallway which had led to the back exit.

"Yeah, I hate when guys do that. They have no right to talk about someone they barely know about." Robin points out, causing me to become confused.

"Boys talk about you too?"

"Oh- no, I meant guys talking about you. It's annoying." Robin reasoned, catching me off guard.

Why was he suddenly being so protective over me?

"Why are you being so vigilant over me?" I wondered, speaking my thoughts.

"Because it's my job to be your 'jerk' that you hate, not theirs."

My face felt warm and I couldn't hold back a smile. "I don't hate you, Robin. I just-"

I just hated how he made me feel.

"I guess I failed my job then, huh?" He chortles.

"I guess so." I match his energy, watching as he hood the door open for me.

"You're failing even more just by being nice to me, dufus."

"Whoops." He sarcastically shrugs.

We both walk out of the building, starting to step onto the sidewalk along the street.
