Chapter 31

Liam's POV-

It was 7:00 and our appointment was at 8:30. I lightly shook Heather, she groaned and tooled over. I chuckled and shook her again, "Heather, darling it's time to get up." She smiled, "It's time to get up." She whispered, making me laugh a bit. She slowly got up and walked into the bathroom, "I'm going to take a shower." She mumbled, I nodded. And went to pick out her clothes, I laud down yoga pants, and my 'BRIT' jumper. When she came out, she smiled and kissed me. "Thank you." She said, "Anything for you." I said walking into the bathroom, I took a quick shower and walked out in a towel. She smirked at me pulling on her shoes, I smiled. "What are you staring at?" I asked her smiling, she shook hear head and went back to tieing her shoes.

I walked into the closet and pulled out jeans and a white t-shirt, with my black converse. I walked back out and Heather was putting her hair in a ponytail, "Ready babe?" I asked looking at the time, 7:45. She nodded, grabbed her purse and walked downstairs. I followed behind her, seeing the boys downstairs already awake. "Hello boys." Heather smiled hugging them, "Morning Heather." They all said, she stood next to me. Zayn and Louis were still in their pajamas, going to hang out with El and Perrie. While Harry and Niall were all dressed, "Ready to go guys?" I asked, they all nodded an got up. "See you later boys." Heather said, "Text us the gender!" Louis yelled, Heather nodded and walked out to the car. Niall, Harry, and I followed.

Heather's POV-

We took Harry's car to the doctor's. We arrived in about twenty minutes which is good, that means we had at least ten minutes to sign paperwork. We walked in, "Dr. Henry, The Paynes." Liam said, I liked the sound of that. 'The Payne's'. The nurse nodded and looked us up, "Oh, you guys get to find out the gender today, congrats... Dr.Henry should be with you shortly." She smiled, we nodded. "Wait, no paperwork?" I asked, she shook her head. "You guys did everything when you came to your first ultra-sound." I nodded and walked to the waiting room with the rest of the guys, we all chatted a bit. "So Harry... What about Taylor saying you kiss like a snail?" I asked, trying not to laugh.

He shook his head, "Some girls would think different..." He said putting his hands behind his head, my brother was such a boy. I smiled at him, "Oh god Harry." I said as the doctor walked in, "Hello Mrs. and Mr.Payne, and Mr.Styles, and Mr.Horan." We all smiled at him, "If you could come back into the exam room with me, and you all can come if you want too." We nodded and stood up, Liam helped me up. "I can handle getting up." I said, he smiled. "Just to make sure." He held my hand as we walked into the exam room, "Mrs.Payne, if you could put this on please, but keep your pants on." The doctor said handing me a hostpital gown. I nodded and walked into the bathroom, I came out with my yoga pants still on. The boys were standing on the other side of the bed, I laid down on it. "Okay and now please lift up your gown to about under your breasts." Liam tensed up a bit, I reached for his hand. He slightly calmed down, I smiled at him.

The doctor out the cold gel all over my stomach, he moved the sensor around my stomach. I was so excited, Liam was at my side and Niall and Harry were on my other. The doctor moved it around a bit when he stopped, "There is your baby..." He said looking at the screen, I looked and tears came to my eyes. My hand met my mouth, "Oh my god... That's out baby Liam..." He was nearly tearing up too, "It is." I smiled at him, the doctor smiled. "Yep they both are very healthy, and seem to be doing perfectly fine." I smiled and then looked at him, "Both?" I asked, the doctor nodded. "Congratulations, you are having twins." I looked at Liam, he was completely shocked. Harry and Niall were smiling like idiots, they were shocked too. "Wht are the genders?"

Liam asked, the doctor moved around a bit more. "A girl..." Liam smiled, "Lila.." He whispered, "And a boy," I smiled, Liam held my hand. "Looks like what we wanted." He said smiling, I nodded. I looked at Harry, he had a few tears running down his face. "I'm so happy for you too." He said smiling, I squeezed his hand, "Please don't cry.." I said, "You're going to make me cry." He smiled, "I'm sorry... I'm just so happy." He said wiping away another tear, I looked at Niall, who wS just staring at the screen. "Niall?" I asked, he nodded not looking away. "I'm going to be an uncle.." He said smiling, I smiled at him. I looked at the screen, hearing two heartbeats clashing wirh eachother. Liam bent down and kissed me softly, "What do you want to name our boy?" I looked at him, "We already chose one for the girl?" I asked jokingly, he nodded. "What?" Harry asked, "Lila, her name is Lila." Liam said looking at her, she is definitley going to be a daddy's girl.

Harry smiled at that name, "You've always lived that name." Niall said, Liam nodded. "What are you going to name the boy?" Harry asked, I smiled. "I really love the name Dylan." I said looking at Liam, he smiled. "That's perfect." He said smiling, "Dylan and Lila Payne, wow sounds like a perfect family." Harry said, I smiled. "I know right." I said, "Can you text Zayn and Louis?" I asked Liam, he nodded and pulled out his phone. In two minutes we got a reply, "They're really excited and can't wait to see pictures." I smiled and nodded, "And we're tweeting." Niall said referring to him and Harry on their phones. I held Liam's hand, "Dylan and Lila..."
