The battle raged on and I saw men from both side fall left and right. There was so much blood shed. I focused on all the targets in front of me. I slayed each and every one that came for me.
Gideon stayed close to me as he fought and kept a lookout for anyone we didn't see coming. I was thankful to have him close by and something to look forward to after all this over.

'Give up the fight Queen!' I heard Marlot shout.
'Fight me yourself you pig!' I shouted back in anger.

His army was falling one by one. It was a matter of time before they were all gone, and it was just Marlot himself and he would have to fight to save his own life after he had sacrificed everyone for him.

Why would these people throw themselves away like this? He had to have some kind of control over them like he did with Adrian because they kept fighting till it was time for them to die.

I didn't lose that many people in this battle as there were maybe five more men left of Marlots army.
'Your army is dying out Marlot. Don't you think you ought to retreat back home?' I shouted.
'I don't care if they die. This battle ends when I kill you.' he shouted back.

'Then die!' Gideon shouted and charged towards Marlot.
'Gideon no!' I shouted and followed him.

Gideon and Marlot were now in a face off as we all watched. My army no longer had anyone to fight as all of Marlots army was dead and it was just him. Gideon was in one to one combat and it was a close draw for both as they were equally strong. They fought like this for a good hour and neither of them gave up.

'Marlot retreat!' I shouted to him.
'No! Not till you all die!' he shouted.

I was able to throw him off and Gideon managed to slash the side of his face. Gideon wasn't quick enough get out of the way before Marlot had slashed his leg open.
'Gideon!' I yelled. I didn't want him to die. It wasn't his time.

Gideon was able to escape death at the hand of Marlot because he was able to quickly fly out. I was angry now. I had had enough, and it was time for Marlot to be done for. He has killed Draven, he turned Adrian and he ended up dying at the result of it, and now he's hurt Gideon. I was going to end this monster once and for all.

I flew into action and faced Marlot head on. I started striking him with many sword blows and he blocked each one of them. What he didn't realize was that I was faster than him. I started to feel myself glow with a red aura about myself as my anger started to show.

'It's time for you to die! You have killed and hurt too many people!' I shouted and slashed him across the back. I took another blow at him to his face. I was almost fast enough to get away from him as I felt his sword hit the side of my face. I felt the blood trickle down my cheek.

I charged at him and hit him several more time and with one final twist I took off his head. I watched his head fly into the air and land on the ground. He didn't even have time to speak before his death.

It was over. It was now over. I fell to my knees and let my sword stab into the ground as I gripped the handle. I did this for you Draven and I won. This castle is safe, and we can live our lives now.

'Lady Draven are you okay?' I heard Fira call out to me.
'I'm fine.' I told her. I got up and made my way to Gideon to see how was holding up.
I could see his wounds were bad. I hope these were going to heal.

'Gideon, we did it. We won.' I told him as I kneeled next to him and took his hand.
'Are you okay? You have a cut on your face.' he asked as he went to put his hand on the other side of my face.
'I'm fine. I'm more worried about you.' I replied.

I watched a woman of equal beauty of a fairie approach. And she had an ointment that she put on his leg and I watched it heal as if there was nothing there.
'Come here child.' she said to me and put the same ointment on my face and I felt it heal. Fira took a cloth and cleaned the blood off. I was healed by a simple ointment. They had medicines far greater than any human doctor ever could.

'I have never seen anything like that in all my life.' I told them.
'Of course, you haven't my dear. We fairies are beings of magic. You'll learn more about that later.' the medicine lady told me.

'Well it looks like you will get to come to our land after all. How does that sound?' Gideon asked.
'I am more than ready to go' I told him.
We embraced and decided we needed to help clean everything up before the sun came up.

I bid all the vampire covens who had come to fight a farewell. I was so grateful of their help. Fira and her clan helped restore the castle and the grounds back to their normal state. They never once used their magic while in battle and that takes great courage.

'Shelley, do you miss the sun?' Gideon asked once we got back to my room.
'I do all the time. Keep in mind I was human once.' I replied.
'Would you like to be able to see it again but this time in a different form?' he asked.

I was curious of what he meant. How could I see the sun when I was part of the vampire world?
'Shelley, I know I have only known you for a short time, but I feel like I have known you all my life. Would you accept my hand in marriage and step back down to be a princess till I take my father's place on the throne?' he asked as he got down on one knee and presented me with an aqua blue ring.

'But I'm a vampire, how can this possibly work?' I asked.
'Easy. close your eyes and drink this.' he told me and handed me a vial filled with a gold like potion.
'What is this?'
'It's going to change who you are on the outside. Remember how you witnessed the powerful medicine that my people have? Well they can transform beings as well. In this vile just happens to be fairie potion and with it you will change being undead to being alive but a fairie.' he told me.

I held this vial in my hand and realized the power it held to me. I could come back to life but no longer need blood to survive and I didn't have to hide from the sunlight.
'Okay I'll drink it, but you have to promise me one thing.' I told him.
'Yes anything.' he replied.
'You have to promise you'll love me no matter what happens.' I told him.

He took me by the waist and set the vile down for while he decided he wanted another piece of me in my vampire form.
'It's not every day that I can say I made love to my future wife while she was a vampire.' he said with a smirk across his face.

He picked me up and flew us to the bed where he started kissing every inch of my body. I could feel myself relaxing and ready for the best fight ever. I began to give little bits all over his body but not strong enough so that it wouldn't pierce his skin.

'Fuck give me more.' he groaned from the bite.
'I will if you'll get inside me while we're flying.' I told him as a grin crossed my face.
I didn't have to say anymore when he picked me up and placed me on him and began to thrust me midair.

We made love until the sun was coming up the next day. I got dressed and looked over on the nightstand where the vile sat. during our night I had forgotten about it completely. I had a choice to make. I didn't know where this new journey would bring me, but I think I was ready for it. I didn't think it was possible for me to be without Gideon at this point.
