Hoseok trailed through the living room, buttoning his shirt with some difficulty, due to the man following him with his arms encircling his waist.
"Hyungie noooo," Jimin whined, pouting.
"Don gooo."
"Baby hyung has to go to work."
"B-but - Jiminie don wan be alone," Jimin said, looking up at Hoseok with big eyes.
Hoseok sighed and glanced over at the boy on the couch before resting his hands on Jimin's waist.
"Look Minnie, Jungkook is home, he can play with you. I have to go, okay?"
Jimin pouted but nodded.
"Okay," he sighed.
"Kiss?"
Hoseok smiled and kissed him sweetly, then turned and hurried out the door. Jimin turned to look at Jungkook, who was sitting on the couch with his legs relaxed wide and his phone in his hand, looking up from it at Jimin a bit cluelessly. He didn't spend a ton of time alone around little Jimin, at least not without the others there to take care of him, and he wasn't really sure what to do.
"Uh. Hey Jiminie. What do you want - oh-" he cut himself off with a breath when Jimin padded over and flopped onto his lap, leaning back against his chest and putting his head on his shoulder.
"Whatcha doin Kookie?" He asked, looking at Jungkook's phone screen.
"Ah - I was playing a game," he replied.
"Jiminie see."
"Okay."
Jungkook pulled the game back up and started playing again, his arms reached around Jimin to hold his phone so that they could both see the screen. When he lost again he sighed and lowered his phone.
" 'm bored," Jimin said, squirming a little on Jungkook's lap.
"Uh...what do you want to do?" Jungkook asked, bringing a hand to Jimin's hip to make him hold still.
The boy turned in his lap and looked at him with a frown.
"Do you like to color?" He asked, as if it were a very serious question.
"Yeah," Jungkook replied, nodding just as seriously.
"Okay!" Jimin said, hopping off his lap and grabbing him by the hand.
"C'mon Gukkie!" Jungkook couldn't help but smile fondly as he let Jimin lead him upstairs to his room, watching his back.
Jimin was dressed in pastels, a big comfy sweater that fell off his shoulder sometimes and shorts that seemed a little tight to Jungkook. He, by contrast, was dressed in black, sweats and a big T-shirt. His hair was getting long these days too, and he had let it air dry after his shower so it was fluffy and soft today. When they reached the room Jimin dropped his hand and hurried over to his shelf, plopping down on the floor and pulling out his crayons and coloring books. Jungkook followed, sitting cross legged in front of him and watching as Jimin flipped through the pages, humming to himself as he decided which book he wanted and then picking one for Jungkook as well.
"Thank you," Jungkook told him, accepting it with both hands and bowing slightly to make Jimin giggle as he handed him the book.
Jimin flipped around and lay on his stomach, dumping his crayons out and kicking his legs up behind him as he picked a page and got to work. Jungkook balanced the book in his lap, leaning down to fill in the picture he had chosen. His hair kept getting in his eyes and he sighed, blowing air up to move it. He was just about to get up and go get his headband when Jimin looked up at him with a frown. Then he gasped.
