The door slammed and there was a frustrated sound from the front room as Yoongi arrived home from work at his barista job and struggled to kick his shoes off, cursing and chucking them down when his feet were free.
"I fucking HATE this job," he growled loudly, fuming.
He stormed through the room and to the kitchen where Jimin was leaning back against the counter, sipping a beer. His hands were splotched with dried paint in varying colors and he looked tired.
"Just quit it then," he said.
"Why would you keep doing something that makes you so angry all the time."
Yoongi stopped and tilted his head, squinting in disbelief.
"Just...quit it? I can't just quit my job Jimin, I have it for a reason," he said.
"You have two jobs," Jimin said, shrugging.
"Yes, and I have bills."
Yoongi rolled his eyes and reached into the fridge, grabbing a beer for himself. He looked for the bottle opener but it wasn't in its usual spot so he huffed and turned around to see it laying next to Jimin who was sipping his beer again.
"I'm just saying, you must really hate it because you're always a dick when you get off work from that job. You'll pay your loans off eventually," Jimin said as Yoongi snatched up the bottle opener and used it angrily, a little too much force sending the bottle cap flying.
"Just quit."
"You know, a guy with no job shouldn't be giving out this kind of advice," Yoongi spat, tossing the bottle opener back onto the counter.
Jimin set his now empty bottle down with some force, the glass clinking loudly against the countertop.
"How about a guy that has to deal with your shit every day, huh, does that qualify me for this kind of advice? Either quit the job or stop fucking bitching about it Yoongi," he said, pushing past him to leave the kitchen.
Yoongi set his beer down, whirled in anger and followed him as Jimin started to climb the stairs.
"So that's your solution to things that upset you, Jimin? Just quit?"
"That's my solution to things that make me miserable, yeah!"
Jimin reached the top of the stairs, shouting at Yoongi below him now.
"How about you take your fucking attitude out of my face if you don't like my solution!"
Yoongi reached the top of the stairs, forcing Jimin to step back out of the way, their eyes sparking angrily as they glared at each other, jaws held tight and shoulders tense.
"I didn't ask for your stupid solution," Yoongi said back, his voice as loud and angry as it ever got.
"Well then I'm sorry for offering it," Jimin growled.
"Now get your unpleasant ass out of my face so that I don't have to deal with the consequences of you forcing yourself to keep doing something you hate."
Jimin's back was to the wall, Yoongi glaring darkly at him from very close.
"No," he said.
"We're boyfriends, you're supposed to deal with my ass even when its unpleasant."
"Fuck you Yoongi, I was already in a bad mood," Jimin huffed, rolling his eyes and letting his shoulders fall back against the wall.
"Yeah so was I," Yoongi said, stepping closer.
His face felt hot and his heart was beating hard and fast and he was still so pissed off and god Jimin was hot and he needed some place to put this anger, wanted it to be on him.
