You had a fitful night of sleep and woke up several times, so much that Taehyung whined about it and rolled over in bed where he lay next to you.
You apologized sleepily and curled up against his back, dozing off again but only for a little while before you were once again awake. You weren't sure why, this just happened sometimes.
When the morning finally came after what felt like forever you sat up, pouting. You didn't want to go to class. You crawled out of bed and took a hot shower, the steamy bathroom feeling like a warm hug.
You went back into your bedroom dry and fresh and you pouted at the clothes you had laid out for school.
Lying on top of your dresser was a pretty, soft nightgown seokjin had bought and you looked at it, biting your lip. Maybe if you asked Seokjin nicely he'd tell you that you could stay home from class! It would just...feel better to do it if he said it was okay.
You put on the nightgown and padded barefoot down the hall, your damp hair on the back of your neck making you shiver. You peeked into Yoongi and Seokjin's bedroom but it was empty.
You frowned and backed out of the room, peering down the hall. You followed it, peeking into every open door. Jimin was in his room with an easel set up and a paintbrush in his hand, morning light streaming through his window.
You blinked and watched him quietly for a moment, but then you remembered he didn't like people to see his unfinished pieces unless he showed them so you quickly scurried away.
You glanced into the study and liked the way the morning light was falling onto the floor so you looked farther and gasped in excitement when you saw Seokjin sitting at the desk.
He looked like he had come there almost straight from bed. He was wearing a wrinkled T-shirt and a pair of athletic shorts. He was barefoot and his hair was a little messy.
Next to his laptop which was open in front of him was a mug of coffee with steam curling up from it. The room was all warm and quiet and comfortable and you tiptoed in, going straight to him.
You tried to slip onto his lap, crawling underneath his arm and wedging yourself between his chest and the desk. He chuckled lowly as you straddled his lap and wrapped yourself around him, burying your face in his chest.
"Baby girl, what are you doing?" He asked softly, planting a kiss on top of your head and rubbing your back, a smile in his voice.
You just shook your head, making yourself as small as possible, pushing your face further into his chest and breathing him in. He sighed and looked over you at the screen, rubbing your back mindlessly and sipping his coffee.
Seokjin's shirt smelled slept in - boyish and a little old. His skin underneath hadn't been washed yet today and you liked that natural scent, mingling with the smell of his coffee. You decided that not only did you not want to go to class today, you wanted to not do anything but sit here pressed against Seokjin for as long as possible.
"Baby girl," he said again, tapping your back lightly.
"Look at me." You raised your head slowly, obediently looking up at him with a pout on your face. He smiled fondly.
"What are you doing?"
"Snuggling?" You said hopefully.
"Can I stay home today, please?"
"Mm, your grades are good so far this semester, hm?" He asked.
You nodded quickly, feeling hopeful
"I'm working from home today too. You want to stay with me?"
