"Okay, the rules are simple," you said, as you sat down at the table and opened your pack of cards.
Everyone had a beer and there were several bottles of soju littering the table as well, a shot glass next to each person.
"Each card has an action tied to it based on the number. Suit doesn't matter. There's no real reason to explain all of them up front cause you won't remember all the rules, so we can do it as we go."
"I'm confused," Yoongi said, frowning.
"You'll get it once we start," Jin said.
You glanced up to find his eyes on you, his dark gaze making you squirm slightly in your seat and you looked down again at the cards in your hand quickly.
"Okay um...let's just start and we'll see if you guys have questions," You straightened the deck of cards and set them down in the middle of the table, then flipped the top card over next to the stack.
You groaned in annoyance when you saw it.
"Six is chicks," Jungkook said, flashing you a grin.
"So unfair," you said, rolling your eyes and taking a gulp of your beer.
"Wait! I still don't understand," Yoongi whined, looking imploringly at Hoseok sitting next to him.
The younger sighed and pointed at the card.
"The card is a 6. The rule for sixes is that girls have to drink. Six is chicks." He pointed at you.
"Gray is the only chick, so she had to drink. Kay?" He asked, looking at Jimin and Yoongi.
They nodded, beginning to understand.
"My turn!" Jungkook said from where he sat next to you, flipping the next card.
"Ha! Five is guys, drink up assholes," you said victoriously.
"So we drink now?" Yoongi asked, tentatively picking up his beer.
"All of us, yeah," Taehyung said, taking a swig.
"Okay!" Jimin said from Jungkook's other side, reaching for a card.
There were a few turns, cards and drinks and then Jin flipped the next card and it was a King.
"Oh, what does King mean?" Jimin asked as he sipped his beer, blinking with interest.
"It means he gets to make a rule and we have to follow it for the rest of the game,"
Jungkook replied. "A rule? Like what?"
"Anything," you shrugged.
"My rule is, when it's your turn you have to remove an article of clothing," Jin said.
There was a chorus of 'ooo's around the table and you did some quick math, glancing down at your jacket, shoes and socks and deciding you could keep your pants on if you played this right.
"That gonna be okay with you Gray?" Hoseok teased, elbowing you playfully.
"I'm wearing more clothes than most of you already, I think I'll be fine," you replied, shoving him back.
Taehyung quickly flipped the next card.
"Nine is rhyme," he whined, sinking in his chair.
"You get to pick it though," you chuckled, watching him pout cutely, his fluffy blue hair falling into his eyes.
"Okay! Cat."
"And Tae, don't forget my rule," Jin said.
"Oh right!" Taehyung exclaimed, quickly tugging off a sock.
