Petalkit's Prophecy

Chapter 2, A new world

Cloudrose smells the fear off of Petalkit's pelt. She gets worried about her and thought of idea to make her feel better. 

 "Petalkit?" Cloudrose meowed in a cheerful way.

 " what is it, Cloudrose? " Petalkit said in curiosity way that is about what Cloudrose might say or do.

 " I know your nervous to meet the clan but they are some of the nicest cats you will ever meet, and I think Snakekit will be happy to have friend to play with other than the apprentices and warriors and elders too. " She said in a comforting and also cheerful way.

Petalkit prick her ears to know that she might have a friend so she won't be the only kit in clan. As she is thinking in her mind about what Snakekit will be like. Moonstar meowed at Petalkit and Cloudrose to get their attention.

 "This is Dawnclan's camp." Moonstar said to Petalkit to let her know that they are at the entrance of the camp. Petalkit looked at the bramble walls. Just like back at thunderclan as she remembered playing in clearing and walking out of thunderclan after being banished from her home, she said in her mind trying to not be impolite to the cats inside the camp. She Swallowed her nervousness down trying to optimistic in this situation right now.

"Everyone, I have an announcement. " Moonstar said walking into the clearing and jumping on to a huge rock so she can be headed and seen by all cats there.

"Me and Cloudrose were by the south coastal beach lines, we found a kit alone by the water, and we decided to let her join our clan. " Moonstar said in a serious tone of voice to come off as being formal and serious at the same time. 

Everyone started to chatter about the new kit looking at the entrance of the camp to see Cloudrose and Petalkit. Cloudrose put Petalkit down on ground and gently pushed her with her tail to go forward to see the eyes looking at her all at once. Make her feel very nervous to walk but walks forwards by the touch of Cloudrose's tail behind her. She walks in to see a lot of new faces and scents all at once, but then saw a Calico kit looking at her as their eyes meet. Petalkit knew that was Snakekit because she was the only kit in dawnclan.

 "Welcome our newest member, Petalkit!" Moonstar said looking at Petalkit walking in and the cats welcome with a lot of purrs of accepts to her arrival. 

 Moonstar looks at a White ginger shecat then says"Frostpool will you take care of Petalkit? " 

 "Of course, I will Moonstar." Frostpool said looking at Moonstar than at Petalkit as walk towards her.

 "Hello, Petalkit -" Frostpool was going to say then Snakekit ran right in front of Frostpool and Petalkit, Snakekit was jumping up and down with excitement.

 "Hi, I'm Snakekit, I'm two and half moons old, how old are you? Snakekit was talking so fast. Petalkit could barely understand what she said but kind knew what she said.

" I'm Petalkit and I'm two moons old. " Petalkit said sleepily and with a yawn after she spoke. 

Frostpool knew to put Petalkit to sleep for a little bit. 

 "Snakekit!, What did I tell about being respectful and not act like your on catmint." Frostpool said sharply at her daughter to make her behave. Snakekit did what she told to do. She sat down and with a sad face from being scolded by her mother.

Petalkit watch has the happy and energetic kit being quiet and sad. It made her feel guilty for the sad face Snakekit was doing. Frostpool pick up Petalkit and was walking to a den. Petalkit guessed it was the nursery because Snakekit was following behind and Frostpool was bring her there too. Frostpool slipped in through the entrance of the quiet nursery. 

Petalkit was surprised that it was so quiet then Snakekit ran ahead of her mother and was waiting in a nest in the middle of the den. Frostpool gently placed Petalkit in the nest next to Snakekit. Snakekit was looking tired and Frostpool too. Snakekit yawned and curled up next to Frostpool's belly and closed her eyes to sleep for the rest of the night. Petalkit watched as the star covered the night sky with beauty. Petalkit saw a shooting star and made a wish to see her family again... some day, she hoped.

Frostpool gently taped Petalkit on the shoulder with her tail to let her know to come to the next where Snakekit and Frostpool are at and that what made Petalkit turn around to sleep next to Snakekit who was already asleep next to Frostpool's belly. Petalkit settled down next to Frostpool belly. The smell of the nursery reminded Petalkit of the thunderclan nursery sleep next Mapleshade's belly along side Patchkit and Larchkit next to her as well. She smiled at the thought of it.

She will always remember her mother and brothers during the good times before being banished from thunderclan. Petalkit frowned at the thought of being banished for being half riverclan. Petalkit's eyes begin to close because being to tried from the river and the powerful current kept her under then above again in the roaring water then everything went black, Petalkit went to asleep.
