Casey didn't fall to the ground. Instead it was Gloria that fell, releasing the hold she had on her hair and hitting the ground. Casey looked down at her. Gloria's eyes remained lifelessly open, a hole oozed blood from the side of her head. The gun dropped in front of Casey's feet. After that the next minute was a blur.

Matt looked at Jonah after seeing the shot didn't come from Gloria, thinking it had to have come from him. But Jonah also looked on, confused at the sight of his now dead shifter, wondering who fired the shot.

Shannon was not one to lose your focus on, as Jonah would soon find out. She knew the situation. Seizing the opportunity, she hopped to her feet and slammed her body into him, knocking him back just enough that he lost his grip on Tyler, who instantly ran for his dad.

Jonah composed himself enough to fire a single shot at Tyler, that's when it seemed like time stopped. Tyler did in fact make it to Matt, who picked him up and turned his body, shielding him from any more gun fire.

The bullet Jonah fired never made it to Tyler because Shannon ran in front of it and took it in her abdomen. Casey then fired a lone shot at Jonah, striking him in the chest. He dropped his gun and fell to the ground.

Shaun ran for Shannon, quickly pulling the tape off her mouth and untying her hands.
Matt grabbed his shotgun off the ground and aimed it into the woods. Someone had shot from somewhere and killed Gloria. The bullet had killed her but was it could have been meant for Casey? There was someone else out there.

Two figures came walking toward them out of the darkness. Matt prepared to fire on them, but as the the two came into the moonlight he dropped the shotgun on the ground.

Phil and Gab came out walking side by side. Phil had a sniper rifle hanging from his shoulder . Next to him was Gabby, holding a .45 in her hand. Good old Phil. He must have made that shot from a hundred yards away, hitting Gloria right in the temple.

There was no time for questions. They all ran over to Shannon who was doubled over, writhing in pain.
"Matt." Casey pleaded to him. Her hands were blood soaked from pressing on Shannon's gunshot wound.

"Move! Move!" Matt yelled as he made his way to Shannon's side.
"Hey, hey. It's okay Shan. Hang on okay, we're gonna get help." He told her.
She looked up at him. "Is he okay?" She asked, referring to Tyler.
"Yeah, he's okay. You saved him." Matt told his friend.

Phil and Gab walked over to Jonah who was still on his back, right where he fell after Casey shot him. They looked down at him as he coughed up blood. Phil picked up Jonah's gun off the ground. Together, he and Gab extended their arms and aimed at his face.

"Wait." Jonah pleaded as he coughed up more blood.
They didn't..... They each fired a single shot to his head.

Casey had Shannon's hand. "You can't go." She cried. "We're going to get help."
Shannon managed a smile. "You take care of him okay?" A single tear ran down her cheek.

"That's your job." Casey replied as she cried, knowing she had meant Matt.
"Not anymore." Shannon said.
She noticed Phil and Gab and smiled. "I knew you guys would be back."
"We're here." Gab said, taking her hand.

Shaun grabbed Matt by the arm and whispered. "We'll never make it to a hospital."
Phil started to run to try to get a signal on his cell. "We gotta call for help." He said, nervously.
