If Erudite never strikes-(alternative divergent ending)

Chapter 7

Tess and Finn are next to fight. not much happens. Tess gets a few good hits in but Finn knocks her out cold with a punch to the gut and then the ear. ouch. after the fights are over we tell the initiates to take the rest of the day off but not to get into trouble, considering the stink bomb in the dauntless born's room.
Tobias and I walk to the 2nd training room to watch Uriah training, but no one is their so instead we walk to the pit and down the corridors until we pass the Marlene and uriah's apartment and hear laughing from inside- not from 2 or 3 Peale but more like 15, that's odd.
Tobias knocks on the door and the laughing stops, the door opens slightly and Marlene stands there
"Hey guys what can I do for you?" She says
"Oh nothing we wanted to make sure every thing was okay" Tobias says "what's with all the racket?"

"Oh that's nothing" Marlene says "just a little get together with the family" a few giggles come from inside

"Family get together?" I ask

"Yeah- extended familly" Marlene blushes, she's hiding something

" So where is Uriah?" Tobias says raising his eyebrows"

"Training"

"In the training room?"

"Where else would he be"

"In there with the initiates" I say, adjitated

"Oh for gods sake" I hear Uriah shout "mar just let them in" Marlene opens the door wider and we step in, uraih is surrounded by the dauntless borns. there has to be 17 of them, a lot of competition for our group. A few of the girls eyes linger on Tobias. oh no they freaking don't. I lace my fingers with his as a 'back off' warning

"I I I I I can explain" Uriah says

"No I get it you finished training early, we did to" Tobias says

"Well yes and no" Marlene shuffles over"

"What do you mean?" I ask

"We got bored" a girl with brown and ginger hair says "Uriah brought us up here to party"

"Chloe" Uriah hisses

"Uriah" the girl- Chloe- hisses back

"Shots fired" a boy says
"And shots landed" Chloe replies

"Grab a drink and sit down" Marlene says "you may as well"

"Sure, thanks" Tobias says leading me to the kitchen counter where he picks up a beer Bottle and takes the top off. he hands it to me but I push it away

"I don't do alcohol" I whisper

"It's okay he says" and sips the drink

"You'll only have 1 right?" I ask worried, I remember what he said to me when he was drunk by the chasm I don't want him to do anything stupid

"Tris don't worry" he says as if he just read my mind "I'll just have 1"

"Thanks" I say, he winks.
For a while we sit and talk to the initiates and Uriah, I get acquainted with Chloe and her boyfriend luke, they seem close and their relationship is so cute, I have to say luke sure as hell can rock a lip piercing. turns out that Chloe and Emy are cousins- Emys dad was from dauntless but transferred to erudite, he apparently always wanted his son (Emys brother) to be dauntless and that's what he became but he was killed in an accident a few years ago and Emys dad was devastated- he loved his son but didn't really think much of emy so that's why she came to dauntless. to prove her dad wrong and make him proud of her- Chloe tells me that all emy did was to please her parents, even though it sometimes made her life a misery, Chloe's dad stayed at dauntless so that's why she's a dauntless born and she hated the other factions so dauntless was her choice. luke however is aparantly peaceful, he loves singing and thought about joining amity but stayed because he didn't want to leave his mum or his brothers, Ashton, Callum and Michael. sweet of him, he's a bit like tommy in the sense that he doesn't have the character to be dauntless but the strength and courage of a warrior.

Tobias and I leave as it's getting late and we grab a pizza slice each; pepperoni with spiffed crust. I'm surprisingly full before I get to devour the crust so I give it to Tobias who munches on it in bed. he also decides to be a perv and watch me get undressed so I head into the bathroom. when I come back he sits pouting like a puppy who didn't get a treat.
"What?" I pout back "is Toby woby sad he didn't get a treat"
He rolls his eyes
"Come here" he says opening his arms. I walk forward and fall into him he hugs me and kisses my forehead. then he flips us so I'm on my back and he's on top. he kisses my beach and works his way down to my tattoo. I stop him there by placing a hand to his chest and saying 'Tobias' sternly he jerks back
"Sorry" I say
"No I'm sorry, I keep forgetting"
"It's okay" I say touching a hand to his warm shoulder.
"you're still the brave 6 to me" he says lying down. I rest my head on his ches and heat the this of his heart
"You're still the brave four to me" I say back. while I have his heart beat I give him a polygraph test with out him knowing
"Do you love me?" I ask and listen to his heartbeat it stays the same
"Of corse I do tris"
He told the truth on that one
"Do you love me?" He asks
"Definitely" I say kissing his chin
"That's very good to hear six" he flirts
"Very good indeed four" I say. he kisses me softly and I doze off to sleep.
