"Hello?" a male voice resounded before her. Where a small hill lay.

She eyed it for a second before approaching the hill. Holding Tilly in her arms firmly. Both of them panting and dotting with sweat. Her hair a mess, strands sticking out here and there.

Was there somebody over there?

Heaving a few tired sigh, heart thumping from too much running and chasing for the past thirty minutes, she up the hill slowly.

"Hi..?" Pearl greeted whoever was down there. Going to the left corner where there was a small space to hop down from. A tree growing not so far from it. "I heard a voice for a second..! "

The sounds of approaching footsteps underneath the hill, that turned out to be an small entry way made her stop for a second. A familiar blond hair person came walking out with a sword and shield.

"Oh! It's you. Hi Martyn." She forced a smile to her face when she got closer.

"You wanna come on an adventure?" He asked with a mysterious eagerness to him. A big grin on his face.

"We could. We could. Because those goats are not working for me..." Pearl answered pathetically, wiping some sweat off with the back of her hand.

Martyn was about to say something back, in the middle of returning back down the hill he came out of, but halted. Looking at her with concern in his blue eyes. Finger raised to point at her injuries. "What happened to your hand? The goats got you good?"

"Yeah. I was up on that mountain a few miles back over there," gesturing with her thumb behind her. "Trying..- to get myself a goat horn, and those little menaces won't cooperate."

"Oh." Martyn chuckled before waving her down. "Don't worry about it. I'm sure you'll get one sooner or later. You should probably treat those injuries too when we come back."

Wait- come back? Where the heck are we adventuring to??

Pearl quickly follow suit, and came face to face with a dark, jet-black color rock structure. Forming into a vertical rectangle structure, every angle was triple built to appear thick and firm. Still wet mud dripping down the sides.

The most eye-catching thing for Pearl was the purplish light in the middle. Multiple medium size circles swirl all inside.

She knew without questioning, that this was a Nether portal.

"We're going to the Nether??" Mouth parted in awe and surprise. Glancing down at Tilly, a small pool of steaming lava bubbled dangerously behind the portal.

But Martyn was already stepping in. Turning to face her in the middle of the light. "Nether! See you in there!"

Then he was gone.

"Are you kidding me...?" No one replied to her, to tell her it was a joke. Martyn made a frickin portal during the time they parted ways, no soulmate with him.

There was no one around to indicate themselves as his soul bound.

Gosh.

And now Pearl agreed to go with him on an adventure to the Nether? When she still hasn't come across her soulmate yet?? She was sure her soul bound is gonna be annoyed having to go all around to find her.

Waiting for her to return. Because there was no way they'll know where this portal is. She stepped in between the portal with Tilly still in her arm and looked at the partially hidden entrance.

I hate myself.

"Bringing an Australian into the hottest place in the game.." Pearl can only hope the Nether wasn't too hot. Quite impatient to take her armor and the hoodie off.
