Amelia Collins. [One hour ago]
I woke up... with no drama.. after such a really really really long time. The first thing I saw was Adam snoring on the mattress in front of me in a very uncomfortable yet funny position, not the most perfect thing to see first in the morning but given the things I have seen lately, this was like a blessing for me.
I sat up, rubbed my eyes and yawned, then unknowingly, shivered. The cabin was becoming chillier and chillier every day even though it's always sunny outside and I have no doubt about the reason behind it.
But what can we even do about it other than gather all the hope we can about this 'Mateo' guy. Barbara said we'll most likely find him at the library, burried in a pile of books in the corner which is laden by dust the most. Kind of a weird description but we gotta take what we get right?
I stood up, walked over Adam's temporarily-dead body and beelined for the kitchen in search of a glass of water. Taking a glass out of the cabinet, I filled it with fresh water from the tap and was just about to take a sip when I heard-
"FUCKKK!"
I hurriedly placed the glass on the counter top and ran for the stairs, taking two at once. There in the hallway on the first floor was Spencer standing outside the last door on the right, his eyes the size of saucers staring intently at whatever that was inside the room.
I ran over to the room just before he rushed in it, my eyes falling on the figure lying on the floor. It took me less than a second to figure out who it was by the red highlights in the hair and I too dashed in after him to her side.
Spencer moved her hair out of her face and then shook it, gently slapping her as if she'll come back to consciousness like that, "Fuck... What happened to her?" His voice came out shaky and frantic, filled with worry.
I gulped and looked at the surroundings of the room, finding them normal as always and then back at Lilly's pale face. With shaky breath, I said, "I don't know Spence... Maybe she tripped in the dark and fell down."
He started moving his hands around, touching her at various places to inspect the injuries, if any and when his hand reached her head, he stopped. He pressed at the side of her head and then turned to me, "She hit her head." Stating that as final, he sighed and then quietly said to me, "Come on, let's take her outside."
Standing up, he gathered her in his arms and I followed him out meekly to the nearest room, which was his. I opened the door and he walked in and then laid her out on the bed, carefully placing her head on a pillow. Then stepping back, he took a long look at her and then turned to me, his eyebrows bunched, "Should we call for a doctor?"
I choked when I thought about it. We had decided not to tell them about the... activities... going on in the house. But by any chance, if Lilly is really hurt, I think a doctor seems like a great idea.
Still shaking, I nod and then take a place beside her, clutching her cold fingers in mine. Behind me, Spencer looked for his phone for what seemed like forever until he found it under a pile of tees near the bed. Then he ran outside to make a call and I waited.
Five seconds later, he came back in and gasped in front of me, short puffs of breath coming out his mouth in between his words as he stood hunched over with his hands on his knees, "But... How... do we.. call him?... I don't have.. his number..."
I gaped at him, then slapped my forehead. "God! Spence?!"
He stood up straight and frowned, "What? How would I have the doctor's number?"
I scoffed, "I don't know... I don't have it."
His frown deepened, "Well... Then how should we call him?"
