TW: CHEATING, ENGAGED
"Y/N..."
"Yeah?"
"I...I did something," he said, still not looking at me.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
"You promise you won't get mad?"
"Why would I get mad? What happened? Hey, look at me," I said in a soft tone
"Just promise?" He met my eyes finally
"I promise," I smile softly.
"I erm- I.."
"Georgie, spit it out."
"Jen. She uh-we uh..."
"No." I whispered. "No you didn't." I say convincingly to myself.
"It didn't mean to happen."
"Yeah well, it happened," I whispered.
Silence
"Please, please say something."
"I was gone FOR A WEEK GEORGE! WHAT THE HELL!"
"But you said you wouldn't get mad."
"Oh! I'm BEYOND MAD. I trusted you, I always have." I looked at the engagement ring and stared. I start twisting it and playing with it.
"This isn't going to work out," I took off the ring. "Goodbye." I shoved the ring into his hand and ran off.
"No, wait! Please. Y/N! Come back!" George sobbed.
