Small Oneshot ig (G.W.)

We are eating dinner at the burrow (hbp time ish) it's pretty late at night.

Remus, Tonks, Sirius, the Weasleys, Mione, and Harry were all there including me. Everyone was in their own conversation. George, Fred, and Sirius were all in their own little bubble of mischief, Hermione, Harry, and Ron all bickering about who knows what. Remus and Tonks talking to eachother being the gay icons they are (Remus and Sirius, I SHIP WOLFSTAR). The older brothers talking amongst themselves and me, Molly, and Ginny were talking. Particularly about weddings and relationships.

"Oh, Y/N, dear, are you sure your not seeing anyone?" Molly asks

"Uh no, molly. I'm just taking that part-"

"A young girl like you should already be engaged! For merlin's sake,"

"Molly, there's still time of course! Im only 18," I smiled

"Oh well, but i know a couple of well fit men ready for-"

"Molly, dear, could you help me in the kitchen? Only for a moment?" Arthur had got up and subtly winked at me. I mouthed a thank you and he nodded.

"Sorry about that, mum can be a little, you know.." ginny whispered to me

"It's totally fine, honestly. My dad doesnt want me to date until I'm married," Ginny gave me a puzzled look.

"But you couldn't-"

"I think that's the point," we both giggled.

"So how's school going? I haven't really been able to talk to anyone anymore."

"Well, me and Dean are..." she nudged me playfully.

"You and Dean!?" I accidentally raised my voice a little. "That's amazing! How is it so far?"

"It's decent."

"Decent? That doesn't seem-"
"I didn't mean it like that. I mean like nothing has gone wrong so far."

"Who knows?"

"No clue, but it's not a secret or anything."

"In all honesty...'' I started, intriguing Ginny as I leaned closer, "I don't think anyone could handle me," I think George was eavesdropping at this point. "Like, I'm such a handful for such a low maintenance person, yknow?"

"Well, Y/N/N, I think you underestimate yourself and I think you deserve the world. I think many people think the same." I saw George smiling to himself. "Anyways, i didn't see your stuff upstairs, are you staying tonight?"

"Unfortunately no, dad needs some help with some stuff. Speaking of, I should get going in a bit."

"Can you stay longer?"

"Yea, Y/N/N! Why not?" Fred joined in

"Family first, bozo." Fred gasped dramatically

"How rude! Were your family too!" I rolled my eyes playfully and I heard my phone vibrating in my back pocket. It was my dad. I excused myself from the table and headed into a more private room. That's kinda hard because there's so many people in this house. I headed to the twins room because it was empty.

"Come in," its george

"Why can't you stay the night?"

"Family... look Georgie I have to go, it's urgent."

"See you at the flat?"

"Maybe," I grab my wand ready to apparate to where my dad is at. "Love you."

"Love you too," I apparate.
