Now or Never (g.w.)

You were gonna do it. Right now. Now or never. Right?

Just a short week ago, George had told you himself, him and Fred were leaving Hogwarts to start their own shop. You were so proud of them.

You were having a battle in your head, whether or not you should tell George you liked-no, loved him. You have for a long time now.

You took your own advice you've told George in the past. "You only live once, just go for it. It's now or never."

"Now or never, Y/n. Now or never." You hyped yourself up before you marched up to George's dorm.

You had seen Fred and Lee in a hallway busy with something. "Thank merlin." You whispered. Now you won't have to bare even more embarrassment with them two in the room aswell.

Here you are. In front of his dorm door. Now or never.

You burst into his dorm to him tinkering with some fireworks.

"Y/n? What are-"

"I love you George!" You said a little more loudly than you originally wanted.

"Come again?" He sets the firework back onto his made bed.

"I swear to Merlin, George. If you didn't hear me, I-"

"I heard you, love."

You let out a loud sigh. "Oh thank merlin!"

George stood up and made his way towards you.

"So?" You asked.

"So? So what?"

"You're not going to say anything? Right after I said what I said?"

He cupped your cheeks with his warm hands and rubbed the pads of his thumbs softly on your now pink cheeks.

"I think actions speak louder than words, darling."

"Whats that suppo-"

He gently placed his lips on yours. You've never been kissed like this. Ever. Sure you went on dates that ended in goodnight kisses but this, this was different. You kissed back immediately when your brain finally caught up.

"Wow." You whispered.

"'Wow,' is right, darling. And I love you back."

You smiled and brought his face down to yours and kissed him once more.

Right then, the door opened.

"Georgieeee, 's timeee," Fred said, sing-songily (That's prolly not even a word but who cares lol)

You pull away.

"Already?" He looked back to his brother.

"Ehhhh, I'm sure I can spare you another 5 minutes." Fred winked at you two and left, shutting the door.

"5 minutes is far too short with you. I need forever."

"Forever isn't enough," Y/n whispered against his lips. (CRINGEEE OMFG)

"I'm leaving tomorrow, Y/n/n. Come with us?"

"George- yknow I can't. With N.E.W.Ts coming, I just-"

"After, then. After you graduate, I'll be at the station, waiting for you. Then you can come stay with me for a bit. Now or never, remember, love?"

"I'd love that, Georgie."

You bumped noses and you giggled.

"You're absolutely gorgeous, yknow that?"

"You're cute, Georgie. And thank you." You blushed.

"Cmon, love. I wanna show you something!" He kissed you nose then lips and pulled you away.
