"This is so stupid." George complains.

"We have to do these order forms to actually buy the shop, Georgie." Fred said, not looking up from whatever hes tinkering with.

"But I don't understand the maths. Maybe Hermione or Harry could help?"

"I don't know, man. That's why I gave the paperwork to you. Just go to The Chosen One first. We don't need 'mione tatteling."

"Alrighty." George made his way to the crimson red common room and searched all the heads until he found Harry.

"Harry. I need your help."

"Oh-erm- with what?"

"Maths. You see, wizards don't really go to school before Hogwarts, so..."

"Uhm, I could try but, Y/n over there," he pointed to a rather beautiful girl in the corner doing homework. "She's amazing at maths."

"Thanks, Harry!"

"Anytime." Harry went back to a conversation with his friend Ron.

George made a beeline towards you. You just kept getting prettier and prettier every step of the way.

"Y/n, right?" George sat next to you in the empty seat.

You looked up from what looks like Transfiguration homework.

"Yeah. And you are?"

"George Weasley, at the pretty lady's service."

You giggled at his antics, making him crush on you even more.

"I was just wondering, if you could help me with this paperwork? I've heard your wicked at maths."

"That I am, George." George slid over the parchment and let Y/n to work.

"Done. It seems you do have enough for the store itself if your buying not renting. And you might need more for the interior, but other than that, your good."

"Wow, thanks, Y/n!" He looked dumbstruck at how good you were.

"Happy to help, Georgie. Come find me if you have any more questions, yeah?" She smiled, looking into his eyes.

"Yeah, don't doubt it! Thanks again!" He kissed her cheek in excitement and ran back up to his dorm.

"That was brilliantly fast." Fred seemed to be writing something in some parchment.

"There was this girl, Y/n, she was wicked brilliant. Take a look yourself mate." He hands Fred the parchment.

"Spot on, Georgie. I'll have to go thank her sometime."

"And she's willing to help us with the Shop 'n everything!"

"Awww, Georgie have a crush?"

"Shut it." George threw a pillow at his twin.

"Hey, hey, careful, you cant replace this face, eh."

. . .

"Fancy seeing you here, eh?" George had spotted you at a small little bookshop window and decided to say hi.

"Hello, Georgie." You smiled. "What brings you here?"

"Just this pretty face infront of me." He leaned onto the bookshelf at a failed attempt to flirt. The bookshelf was really old and rickety in his defense. The bookshelf started to lean when he leaned against it, but he caught it before it made some real damage. A couple books fell off though.

"Oopsies." George smiled and you giggled. You started picking up some of the books as did George.

"Here, I can't really reach," You blushed and handed him the 3 books you picked up.

"You can reach," he shoved the books back into your hands.

"George, what-woah!" George picked you up by the waist and lifted you up. But what he didn't know was that you were super ticklish there.

"George!" You quickly put thr books back and squirmed.

"Didn't know you were ticklish there. Note to self." He smirked.

"Now, now don't be getting ideas." You nudged him.

"This must be, Y/n?" Fred had waltzed into the small bookshop.

"Fred?" She held out her hand for hm to shake and he accepted.

"Thanks for the help with the paperwork stuff. Very much appreciated!"

"Anytime." She got a look at the clock on the wall and she needed to meet her friends in 5 minutes.

"I've got to head out boys. Nice meeting you, Fred. See you 'round." You left to meet your friends at the Three Broomsticks.

. . .

You and George had become quite close over the time period of a month. You would help with paperwork and to the Twins surprise, you had also suggested new prank product ideas. You were everything George wanted in a girl. You were perfect.

"Y/n, I've been wanting to ask you something."

"All ears, George." You looked up from your work.

"I wanted to ask..." George cleared his throat. "I wanted to ask, if you wo-"

"Brilliant, Y/n! You are brilliant, you are!" Fred came bursting in the room. "We've got more than enough money to get everything!! Oh, I didn't realize- sorry."

He read the room and left.

"Wierd. Anyways, what were you saying, George?"

"Oh, right! I was gonna ask if... you could help me with some more homework and stuff for the shop!" He said, rather oddly quick.

"Oh, yeah." She sounded a bit disappointed.

. . .

The next couple of days, George seemed to be a bit awkward around Y/n.

"Cut the crap, George. What is bothering you so much!"

"Nothings bother me. I don't know what you're talking about."

"Well, you've been staring at your food the past 10 minutes, so I'd disagree."

George sighed. "Alright, fine! Ever since Fred walked into us having a talk, I've been overthinking."

"Overthing what?"

"Well, the plan was to ask you out then, but Fred walked in and ruined everything."

"You were gonna ask me out? Like on a date?"

"I mean, yeah I was." He said sheepishly and scratching the back of his neck.

"Ask me out, right now."

"What, why?"

"Just do it,"

"Would you like to go out with me, Y/n."

"I would love to, Georgie." She kissed him on the cheek.

"Kiss me."

"Hmm?"

"Did I say that out loud?" His cheeks turned pink.

She pecked him on the lips.

"Does that answer you?"

"I don't know, you might have to do it again to confirm."

"Nice try, we're saving the rest until our date." She booped his nose.

"That's so not fair!" He exclaimed..
