Cold Kiss

Flo/Reader POV

"FRED!" I shrieked. "PUT ME DOWN!" I bursted out laughing. He was holding me over his shoulder like a ragdoll, tickling my sides.

"Not anytime soon," I could hear a smirk playing on his lips.
Merlin, I loved those lips. I've always wanted to kiss those dark pink, plump lips.

I've had a crush on him since 2nd year and I thought it was a silly school girl crush but by the time in 5th year, I couldn't seem to get him out of my head.

"CANON BALL!" Fred shouted. I just realized he was right about to throw me into the clean pond outside of the Weasleys' house.

"FRED! NO-" I laughed, taking that as a sign, he threw me in.

God, that water was cold. Nipping at my skin, I swam back to the surface to a cackling Fred. I loved his evil little cackle. It was absolutely adorable. 

"You are an idiot Fred Weasley," 

"Only for you," He got up to hold out his hand to help me out of the water but I just then realized the small pendant necklace that Fred got me for my 16th birthday was missing.

"Wait, Fred, My necklace." I checked the surroundings of the water to maybe find a glimpse of gold shimmering in the water.

"Dont worry about it, I can always get you another one."

"Don't be daft, I love that necklace." I saw a shimmer in the water and acted quickly and said, "I think I see it!" And I dove back down in the water.

Freds POV

"Don't be daft, I love that necklace," Flo said as she looked around the body of water.

"I think I see it!" Then dove back into the water.

I love her so much, I've become all soppy for her. Merlin, Im so scared for what's coming in the near future. With all the deatheaters around and Voldemort trying to rule over the Wizarding world, things have been very... scary and dangerous.
Mum wouldnt even let me take a walk at night to clear my head, but oh well. shes just looking after me.

My thoughts disapeared as the clouds became darker and darker. It looked like there was a skull in the clouds. OH NO. Dementors. The air became colder, quiet and I felt an eerieness.

"FLO!!" I screamed, hoping she could hear me. Im gonna jump if she doesn't come up in the next 10 seconds.

The Dementors becoming closer to me and the pond water is turning to ice.

"FLORENCE! FLORENCE!" I screamed as loud as I could.

Florence/Readers POV

"FLORENCE," I heard all muffled. I barely have any more oxygen to keep me going. THERE IT IS! I swam quickly to the pendent that was slowly drowning in the cold water.

"FLORENCE! FLORENCE!" It became louder and louder.

I looked up towards the surface to see the surface turning to ICE? It was freezing over really quickly, so I tried my hardest to swim fast to the surface, but I was too slow.

The surface of the water has completely
froze over. I tried banging on the ice to break it, NOTHING.

My lungs screaming for air. I pounded on the ice harder until it became all fuzzy then black.

FREDS POV

I see her coming up to the surface but the dementors became close, too close. My wand, where the hell was my wand?!?
The dementors only a few feet from me, started sucking the soul out of me. I could hear Flo trying to break free, but i just couldnt move.

"FRED!" Ginny came rushing outside,

"Expecto Patronum!" She blasted them away. Her patronus scaring them away.

"Fred!" She rushed to my side. "Fred, are you okay? Fred say something!"

"I got my first kiss finally," I breathed out a joke, out of energy.

"Oh Fred!" She hugged me tight and let go after a moment. "Where's Florence?"

"Shit!" I looked over to the still frozen pond.

I took my sisters wand and unmelted the ice and dove in the water. I searched looking left and right until I saw her slowly sinking to the bottom, her grip was held tightly around the necklace I gave her on her birthday. That necklace reminded me of her as soon as I walked by it when I went to Hogsmaede. Honestly, it was perfect timing.

I swam to her and grabbed her waist as I swam to the surface.

I lay her down on the long grass.

"Flo, Florence!" I shook her. She was cold and limp, and she wasnt breathing.

"I dont know what to do! What do I do?!" I yelled at ginny. I didnt mean to but,

Florence was dying. The first thing that came to mind was a muggle thing called CPR or something.

I pinched her nose and breathed into her mouth twice and then pumped on her heart.

I gave her a second, thinking she was gone.

She started coughing up water and I jumped up and hugged her tightly.

"Fred-can't breath-"

"Oh right," i let go of her

"thats not what I imagined our first kiss was gonna be like," She smiled softly.

"Oh yeah? Well a made out with a dementor."

"Wait what?"

"Long story, well not that long-"

"Harrys home, i think thats why they've come," ginny explained.

"Harry" me and Flo whispered and giggled.

"Ill be back!" ginny raced back into the Burrow.

"Its not how you imagined our first kiss would be?" I questioned, she sat up slowly.

"Well, uhm... I love you Fred, I have for a very long time now. Well, since 2nd year but-"

I smashed my lips onto hers.

Flo/ReadersPOV

Fred crashed his lips onto mine, i melted right into it. It was quite cold at first but both of our bodies heated it up. I came closer straddling him, all cold and wet.

"Merlin your cold Florence!" He pulled away.

"So are you," I kissed him again, cuddling up to him.

"Cmon, lets go change and get warm," He pulled away once again. We got up while he supported me because I was still pretty weak.

we changed and cuddled on his bed sharing long passionate kisses.
