After the fashion show my mother rented out a five star restaurant for a few people who were higher up in all of the branches.
Harry and I sit alone at a table because my mom is walking around talking to people with a wine glass In her hand and I lean back In my seat.
The waiters and waitresses move in the room and start handing out drinks again.
A waitress, who looks a little older than me, walks by our table and glances over only to stop when her eyes landed on Harry.
"Hi, would you like a drink?" She offers.
"No thank you." he answers and she turns fully to us.
"I'm just going to come out and say it" she sighs. "You have gorgeous eyes."
"Thank you." Harry says flatly and she shifts her serving plate to her other hand.
"Are you single?" She asks biting her lip.
"No he's not." I cut in.
Her dark brown eyes slide to me and I glare back at her.
"I don't see a ring on that pretty little finger of yours." she says.
"Please leave us alone." I tell her nicely.
"Not until I get his number."
"Your not getting his number." I shake my head.
"I wouldn't do that to her and plus I don't associate with sluts." Harty shrugs.
"Your calling me a slut? Honey are even sure that that's your baby?" The girl puts a hand on her hip and I want to take my fork and jab her eyeballs out.
"Are you sure your not a trans?" I report and her eyes widen.
"You didn't just call me that." she growls.
"Would you prefer prostotute?" I ask and her ears turn red.
"Is there a problem here?" My mother asks as she sets a hand on both Harry and i's shoulders.
"Mrs. Reeb, this woman called me a drag queen and a prostotute." the girl says as she points a finger at me.
My mother doesn't even glance at me as she says "I'm sure you deserved it."
"I didn't deserve anything she-"
"She said that I cheated on Harry and the baby wasn't his. Plus she was hitting on Harry even after we told her that Harry and I we're together." I cut the girl off.
The girl clenches her jaw. "Mrs. Reeb I'm very sorry but I believe this girl deserves being fired after she called me those vulgar things."
"My daughter and co-owner of my company is not going to be fired because of someone like you. But I do believe you are the one being fired because as of now," my mom pulls out a deed and Harry and I exchange looks. "I believe I own this restaurant."
"No, please. I'm sorry, I really am. I'm just really stressed about my family and I'm taking it out on everyone else. Please just don't fire me. My parents will kick me out of you do." the girl begs and my mother goes to say something but I cut her off.
"Just don't do it again."
All three look at me like I've grown a second head.
"Thank you." The girl whispers before she rushes away.
"Why'd you let her go?" My mother asks with a small smile.
I shrug. "Pity."
"Mrs. Reeb." someone says and my mom turns and oats my shoulder.
"I'll be back." she tells me before she rushes off again.
After a moment I realize Harry is staring at me.
I turn to him. "What?"
"Your amazing you know that?" He asks.
I roll my eyes with a smile.
"I love you." he says and when I look up at him there's something in his eyes that tells me he really does 100%.
"I love you too." I smile and he leans forward before placing a firm kiss on my lips.
When we pull away he takes my hand in his and starts rubbing the back of it. I lean my head on his shoulder and chuckle to myself.
I really do love him.
