There's a knock on the front door and both Harry and I look over.
"Nose goes." I touch my nose and Harry smiles before getting up.
"Copycat."
I stick my tongue out at him and he does the same thing to me as he walks to the door. I turn back to the tv and take it off mute before putting my feet back up on the coffee table.
"Uhh Jayden your mom is-"
I scramble up and almost fall into the floor before standing up quickly.
"Mom." I smile weakly.
"Hey sweetie. You look surprised to see me." she says as she walks over to me.
"I Actually am." I say as she pulls me into a hug.
"What's there to be surprised about? Harry told me your struggling under the stress so I was bound to come visit to see how you are." she says as she pulls away from me.
"I'm okay now." I tell her weakly.
"Well I'm just gonna stay for a while and make sure. So," she sits down on the couch. "How's life?"
She taps her fingers and I automatically go into panic.
She knows.
She only does that when she knows something that you don't!
"You know don't you?" I ask as I sit down and she nods.
"Hunter told me." She says and I huff.
"I knew he couldn't keep a secret." I lean back.
"He had every right to tell me. I'm his boss, I asked he answered. And why would you keep something like this from me? I'm your mother!" Her voice raises and I look around for Harry but he's no where to be seen.
Just great.
-
Harry's POVI stand in the kitchen listening to the yelling match.
"It was an accident!"
"Sex isn't a accident Jayden!"
"Why are you so difficult?!"
"I'm difficult?! Jayden your the one who isn't seeing the end of this, I am!"
"And what's going to happen? I'll live in happily ever after?"
"No He'll end up dumping your ass once he realizes that a baby is a huge responsibility." Her mother's tone is cold and I feel my face redden.
I go to step into the living but what happens next surprises me.
"Get. Out."
"You did not just tell me to get out." Her mother sounds even more angry than before.
"I just did."
"You can't hide from the truth Jayden. Your eighteen, and he's what? Twenty something. He's going to leave you. And when he does I'll be the one picking up the pieces like last time!"
"He dicho que el infierno fuera de mi casa!" Jayden shouts.
"bien, pero su despedida." Her mother says calmly.
"Genial, estoy cansado de su mierda de todos modos." Jade says and the front door opens.
I walk out of the kitchen to the living room to see Jayden standing in the doorway watching her mother leave. She turns and slams the door behind her before sitting down on the couch.
"She fired me." she whispers and I sit down beside her.
"What? Your mother wouldn't do that would she?" I ask.
"Her exact words were 'bien, pero su despedida,' which means fine but your fired." she quietly says.
"I'm so sorry.... what did you say to her though?"
"I said 'get the hell out of my house'. then she said 'fine but your fired' and I replied with 'great, I'm tired of your shit anyways.' And she walked out." she says and I stare at her.
She kicked her mom out of her house. Never in a million years would I have thought Jayden would go there.
Jade stares into space for a few seconds before her eyes snap to me.
"We should leave."
"Leave?."
"We should move." she changes the direction of her body so she's facing me. "We can move somewhere else, like your hometown or something. I really don't care I just really want to leave this place."
"Babe we can't just leave. I have classes here and-"
"You can transfer." she suggests and I shake my head.
"I can't leave my friends."
She looks away from me. "Your right. I um... we can move somewhere close by but for the three of us."
I think about it for the moment. "We could do that."
She smiles and kisses my cheek before standing up.
"When do you want to make this courageous move?" I ask her.
"The sooner the better." she shrugs.
"How about within this week?"
