Seven years have passed since the battle of Hogwarts, and as I approach the doors a week before opening day, I couldn't help but remember all that has been lost. So many friends and loved ones, taken from us at the hand of evil. Even after the gruesome battle, tragedy still found me. I took a deep breath and took my first step towards my new chapter. It is time to finally fine Hermione and bring her back.
When Ron left suddenly two years ago, I felt a shift in my foundation. I no longer had my best friend by my side. I often wondered what I must have done to keep the love he once showed me at bay. But deep down I knew he had his own demons he refused to face, and for that reason he was never able to show me the love I so much craved from the man I love. I have no idea where he is, if he is safe, or if he is even happy. Oh Ronald, I sure hope you are happy.
I slightly shook my head and relieved myself of the thought of him. "You've got this Hermione", I told myself as I walked through the entrance doors.
