Mason didn't even get a chance to fully walk through the door when he finds you sitting in the middle of the staircase, holding something to your chest as tears streamed down your face. "I'm sorry...." You sobbed, clutching the little white test in your hand as he watches you with a mixture of confusion and concern "I-I don't know what t-to d-do Mase... I'm s-sorry" Dropping his bag to the floor, he ran towards you immediately pulling you into his chest, allowing you to soak his training top as his fingers ran through your hair, a technique he knew calms you down. "Shhhh... baby... look at me..." Mason cooed, lifting your chin up with his fingers, massaging your cheek with his thumb as he held your gaze "You don't have to apologize baby..."

Letting go of you for a second, he gently takes the test out of your hand... having a look at the two little pink lines himself!  He knew by your reaction what the results are... but he just wanted to confirm it... see for himself that he is now a dad... "We're having a baby..." Mason smiled, wrapping his arms around your neck, holding the test in between his hands so he could still see it...

"Your happy?..." You whispered in disbelief, Mason's smile only growing as he looked at you with a raised eyebrow "Happy? baby, I'm ecstatic!... are you not!"

"I am... I promise..." You nodded, tears growing in your eyes once more as the fear slowly started to crawl back "It's just... I'm so scared... what if we're not ready?... what if I turn out like her?" Mason's heart broke at the mention of your own mum... your mum was anything but loving... She dictated when and how she was in your life! Sometimes going months without seeing her before she randomly showed up for one thing and one thing only... money! It wasn't until you met Mason that it all became clear what she was doing... finally putting a stop to it! But doing that meant that you no longer had a mother... which aboustly destroyed you!

"(y/n)..." Mason sighed, pulling you back in his arms as he kissed the top of your head repeatedly "You are nothing like your mum okay?..." Pulling your eyes back to his, he left a delicate kiss on your lips causing a small smile to appear on your lips "You are the kindest, most beautiful, caring person I have ever met... and your going to be the best mummy to our little one..."

"Do you think?..." You sniffled, giving him a teary smile. "Oh I know you are... look how you look after me & I'm 23!!" Mason chuckled, carefully picking you up causing your legs to wrap around his waist. Carrying you to the sofa, he gently places you down, instantly taking the seat next to you as you cuddled into his side, his hand naturally going to your stomach "Do you think they have ears yet...?"

"I don't think so handsome.." You giggled, but before you could say anything else, he leaned towards your tummy, lifting your (*his) T-shirt up as he left delicate kisses across your stomach "Hi baby... this is daddy! Mummy doesn't think you can hear me right now but I know you can..." Your eyes teared up, this time with happy tears, as you watched him communicate with your no older than 4 weeks old baby...

"Isn't that right mummy?..." Mason smiled, looking up to you, causing you to zone out of the trance the little scene put you in... "Huh?..." Mason chuckled as he gave your tummy one last kiss before going back to you, giving your own lips a quick peck, letting his head rest on yours "I said we're going to be just fine..." He whispered, taking your hand in his he places it on your stomach "We've got this together... we're family..."

"Family..." You repeated kissing his lips softly as your hands stayed over where your baby was going to grow for a family who loved them so much already...

Weeks had passed since you both found out the news your were going to be parents and the feeling has yet sunk in! Despite the nerves disappearing of Mason leaving, you were still anxious to actually become a mum although it wasn't until 6 months time!
