The two dragonesses flew through the tunnel to the Sandwing kingdom, and through the Sandwing kingdom before it was nightfall one more
"Galaxy, we better stop to rest for the nigh-"
"NO! we are NOT stopping until we find Darkstars!" Galaxy shouted.
"Okay you can keep going, but it's only going to get colder as we advance and our only heat source is my half Sandwing scales so I'm pretty sure you'll wanna sleep next to me, just sayin." Crystal said convincingly.
Galaxy stopped for a second
"Fine, but only once."
They always argued like sisters, but it made sense to sleep now while it was relatively warm. In the morning the cold air woke them up immediately.
"That's odd, you don't feel cold." Said Crystal.
"I'm not? Oh wait, my grandfather was an Icewing. He may have given me immunity to the cold.
"Oh well that's nice, lucky you." Crystal growled to herself.
"There's no need to be bitter about it Crystal, it's just I'm a tiny bit better then you that's all" Galaxy snorted with a shrug.
"Well it looks like someone wants to die this morning!" Crystal shouted playfully at her friend.
"Okay but in all seriousness we need to get going if we're gonna make it to the Ice Palace" Galaxy reminded Crystal
"You're right, let's go!" Crystal exclaimed
They flew swiftly and gracefully for a day or so. Slowly they approached the palace of the Icewings.
Galaxy and Crystal camouflaged to the point of invisibility, and snuck past the guards with ease,
looking for any sign of Darkstars.
"Help us!" Loudly whispered a nearby dragon in a cell.
"Don't worry, I will come back after we release my boyfriend." Galaxy whispered back.
"Oh that gives me a good idea." exclaimed Crystal in a hushed voice.
"Yeah?" Galaxy listened
"We release all of the prisoners, then, on our signal, they fly as fast as they can pushing past the guards!" Crystal said excitedly.
"Yes, excellent strategy!" Whispered Galaxy.
However, they couldn't find Darkstars in the dungeon.
"Well, I guess we'll release prisoners and sneak out." Said Crystal.
They went up and down jail cells, giving instructions and releasing the captives. After the raid began the snuck out the back way to find Galaxy's boyfriend.
All of Queen Snowfall's prisoners were flooding out of the castle like a wave of the ocean. In the mess of dragons, Galaxy and Crystal accidently separated.
Well crap, Crystal thought, it doesn't matter, I'll find her later.
