Chapter 8- Who Be Dat?

Do I have reasoning for it?

Also yes

"Who be dat" is the way that my friend who Viper is based off of (not my story writting partner) says "who is that" so I thought it was a good chapter name lol

When Crystal woke up she wasn't being carried, pain rushed through her scales as she tried to stand up. She was still chained, but the gag and blindfold were lose around her neck. She felt very warm, I must be in the Sand Kingdom, she thought. She opened her eyes slowly and saw she was definitely in the Sandwing Kingdom, the Queen's stronghold prison. She looked around more and she saw another dragon in a distant cell, a Sandwing that she thought she recognized.

"Umm hello, Sandwing over there? What's your name?" She yelled at the other dragon.

"Who's asking? And why do you care?" The Sandwing snapped right back.

"My name is Crystal an–"

"Crystal? Crystal!!" The dragon breathed fire on her cell bars, apparently whoever this dragon was ,was trained. Must have been an Outclaw, Crystal thought.

The Sandwing continued to melt her cell bars until finally she could escape. She instantly ran over to Crystal's cage.

"Crystal, if it's really you, we need to get out of her right now. 

"Yes, I know~"

"Hyena is going to kill you!" The Sandwing exclaimed.

"Wait a second I still don't know who you– wait, Viper! By all the moons, how did I not notice!" Crystal said excitedly.

"Yes it's me you 'snake for a brain'. Now c'mon, let's go, I think I know the way but it will be risky that's for sure." Viper replied grabbing her forearm and starting to run

"Uhh, Viper I'm still in chains..." Crystal reminded her friend.

"Say no more!"

 Viper melted Crystal's chains, precisely as to not hurt her friend, until they were melted enough to escape, she did the same with the bars.

"We have no time to waste, let's go!"

"My goodness Viper, what in Pyrriah are you doing here?" Asked Crystal after they found a good spot to hide for a while.

"Well I may or may not've gotten in an argument and I may or may not've killed an Icewing..." She said almost laughing.

"Oh Viper, when will you ever learn..."

"I was going to take my punishment! Well, I was." She replied starting to walk away cautiously.

"I...believe you...um where are we going?" Crystal hesitated.

"I'm going back to the Scorpion Den, you can come with me if you want." Said Viper.

"Um, no thanks. I have to find Galaxy, but good luck escaping from that crazy Sand Princess." Chuckled Crystal.

"Meh, suit yourself." Viper smiled and took off.

"Good to see you, and thanks!"

"Yep, byeeeee"

Crystal searched in camouflage and total silence for hours. A guard stepped on her tail and turned around; suspicious. Slowly he felt the floor with his tail. Crystal held her breath. Suddenly a huge force came down on his head and he landed on the ground in a heap.

"Crystal!" Shouted Galaxy in a loud whisper.

"Yes! There you are!" Cried Crystal gleefully, and she added, "let's get out of here, we have no time to lose!"

"You can say that again, only once we're back and out of this smoldering heat we can and will rest." Laughed Galaxy as they took off through the palace hallways.

Galaxy and Crystal turned around to fly away, but they were met by a terrible familiar face.

"Going somewhere prisoners?"
