Chapter 6- Not Who We Thought She Was....

They awoke very cold and panting. Galaxy's muscles ached from being on the cold, Arctic floor.

"You foolish dragons!" Cackled Hyena. 

Ugh, Galaxy thought, even her laugh sounds like a hyenas'

Crystal heard a bunch of voices and the clanking of chains around her.

"You stupid Sandwing! We never should've trusted you!" Galaxy yelled, tugging at her chains.

"Oh you're right, I honestly didn't think you would be that naïve and careless– well, your friend at least." Hyena said not even turning around.

"Who even are you anyway? And what good are we to you?" Galaxy demanded. Hyena looked back at her and laughed.

"Well you see here, you know my name, but I think I'll keep my intentions to myself for now." She jeered as she left the room.

Crystal quickly got up and surveyed the room for anything they could use to escape. She turned to face Galaxy, she was chained up completely. All her legs had chains on them, her neck and wings did too.

" I knew I shouldn't have trusted her!" Galaxy snarled.

"Me either, now what do we do?" Crystal cried.

"These chains are almost frozen to me." Stammered Galaxy.

"I'm sorry, I should have paid more attention..." Sighed Crystal.

"No! It wasn't your fault. That could've happened to anybody." She smiled. "Now what's most important is getting out immediately."

"I can move to the front of the cage. How about I grab Hyena and hold my horn to her and tell her that if she doesn't release us I'll kill her, then once she releases her I'll kill her." Said Galaxy cheerfully.

"Oh no Gal, she is an animus. She would make you let go. Then it would be a showdown between two animus and you'd kill each other or go mad while using all your magic." Explained Crystal.

"Oh yikes. Thanks for warning me. Anything else I should know?" Asked Galaxy.

Crystal told her everything. Her only worries were her venomous tail, her mind reading power, and her animus magic.

Days went by. They were barely fed.

Finally, after about three days Hyena came back.

"Oh you're still alive," she frowned, "that's a pity."

Galaxy rolled her eyes and ignored the menacing Sandwing.

"By all the moons what could you possibly want with us? Haven't you caused me enough trauma for me yet!?" Crystal growled.

Hyena stared at Crystal

"What do I want with you?  WHAT DO I WANT WITH YOU?!?" She fumed. "DO YOU REALLY NOT REMEMB–" she stopped herself "oh wait of course you don't! I erased your memory of me, ha!" Hyena cackled.

"I can FINALLY get ALL the revenge I want and you will have no idea why!" She laughed evilly.

Wait, thought Galaxy if Hyena erased Crystal's memories of her, how did she know she's an Animus? I need to find out more.

Suddenly all of Crystal's memories of her came flooding back  all at once. She looked over at Galaxy, she was clearly enchanting something. She was giving Crystal all of her horrid memories of Hyena back.

Crystal's scales all suddenly faded to black. The color of hatred.

"You. Freaking. JERK!" she screamed, practically choking herself with the chains.

"I WOULD MURDER YOU AND TEAR YOU AND SHRED YOU CLAW BY CLAW, IF I DIDN'T HAVE THESE MOON FORSAKEN CHAINS AROUND ME–MARK MY WORDS HYENA– YOU. WOULD. BE. DEAD."

Galaxy had never seen any dragon so upset before. They must have quite a history. She thought.

Hyena looked slightly scared, but not as scared as the guards behind her. They were frozen in fear.

"As soon as I get out of here, no matter where you are or how long it takes. I will find you, and kill you."

"Aww what a sweet fantasy. There's just one problem with that, Crystal" Hyena sneered.

 "You're not getting out of here. Guards, take her to the interrogation room in the Sand Kingdom for a–friendly reminder of her dragonet-hood– and chain her some more, especially her mouth.

The guards nodded, gagged Crystal, who tried to scream, and took her away, help me! Galaxy heard Crystal think, I know you can hear me Galaxy! Leaving Galaxy in almost complete darkness, in a strange place with chains on her, and lonely, with no escape. What could she possibly do now?
