Chapter 4- The Necklace

Note- I am SO SORRY  FOR NOT UPDTAING LATLEY! I had an extremely busy weekend, so I'll try to post 5 chapters today :D

"Whatever do you mean? And how come you let me worry like crazy over you!" Sobbed Galaxy as they flew.

"There, there dear, I was on a secret mission. I can't tell you everything but I do believe we have successfully made alliances with the Icewings. Now let's go find Crystal before they do!" Darkstars said.

"Oh that's right, she did have a run-in with the princess of the Icewings didn't she?" Galaxy realized.

"Er–yes, but it's more than that." Darkstars replied "let's go babe."

They flew immediately toward the crowd of soldiers rounding up prisoners. They couldn't find Crystal anywhere.

"She's probably freezing to death!" Galaxy realized worriedly.

Galaxy looked around for a second, until she spotted something, a necklace with an over shaped pendant.

With her Animus magic Galaxy enchanted the necklace so that it would protect her from the elements, and give her the ability to read Galaxy's mind if in a dire situation if she held it in her claw.

She quickly enchanted it to find Crystal, and not to stop looking for her until it found her, she also made sure to attach a note, so she wouldn't be confused. And with that, the necklace flew through the palace to Crystal.

Crystal was flying around clumsily from how cold she was, trying to find somewhere to hide. She had three Icewings chasing her. She made a sharp turn around an ice sculpture and found a library. The perfect place to hide!

 She made sure she was out of sight of the Icewings then changed her scale colors to look like an Icewing. She landed in the library and grabbed the first scroll she could find, unraveled it. And started reading it. Then two of the Icewings that were chasing her walked in

"Have you seen a RainWing dragoness come this way recently?" The first one asked in a raspy voice.

"No I haven't." Crystal replied convincingly.

"By all the moons Flake, how could you let her get away? Lightcrusher and Snowfall are going to kill you!" One Icewing shouted at the other as they flew out.

Crystal was relieved that that worked, she thought her frill and ruff would have given her away, but the Icewings didn't come very close to her, too far to be able to notice. 

As she was looking around the library, she saw something floating towards her. It was an Animus enchanted necklace. From Galaxy no doubt. When it reached her she put it on.

Immediately the cold left her body, and she felt normal again.

"Ooh much better..." she sighed to herself.

Crystal continued to camouflage into the darkness of the ice palace. Suddenly a dragonet came speeding down the hall and bumped into her. Crystal gasped slightly as the dragonet began crying.

 She didn't want to use venom or tail on her, but she almost made Crystal have no choice. 

Instead she shut his mouth with her tail–making sure not to sting him– then swung him into a closet and jammed the door shut. "Thank the moons." Crystal thought to herself. She continued until she heard a crashing sound behind her.
