The Rejection

Somewhere in Richmond,

An dark haired man was sitting in a room. It was a garage, there were a SUV and a wrangler. The dark haired man was fixing something with the wrangler. He had opened the bonnet and checking on the fuel pumps. The was a ring from his telephone in the room. He cleans his hand with a cloth and move towards the phone to answer it.
"There is a school full of supernaturals species in Mystic Falls, they are hiding in the plain sight" a feminine voice heard from the other end
"Why are you telling me this?" He asked
"Take the tip Jim, I won't lie" he heard her say
"Who are you?"
"A friend...sort of" the call disconnected. He looked behind at wrangler thinking about a plan as he dialed another number in his phone.

Flashback

Josie and Sophia went to Venice. They were searching for Abigail, an old witch. They came across a the end of the city as the forest started.
"Are you sure we would find her here" Josie asked her saccubus friend
"It's been a while since I saw her but I know she won't leave this land" the saccubus replied
"And why is that?"
Just then they heard a twig sound. They followed the source of it as they found a pair of crows above their head but they dissappear in the sky few meters away from them.
"Where did they..." before Josie could finished her question Sophia picked up a stone and threw it in the same direction
"A cloaking spell" She replied. Josie looked at her skeptically.
"What! I didn't bring you in lion's den, she is really nice...ish" She said grinning.
"Well then... what do we do?" Josie asked Sophia again
"You're the siphoner just siphon it"
Josie sighed thinking about if it's a good idea, she siphoned the spell as the house in front of them appear in the vision.

They entered the perimeter and Josie could feel the strong wave of energy in her surroundings. They stood in front of the main door. Sophia gave Josie a tight lipped smiled and knocked the door but it opened when her knuckles hit the door.
They both eneter in the house
"Hello... anybody home?" Sophia shouted but thy didn't get any reply. Josie looked around the room. There was lot of things in the house which made it clearly visible that a witch lives here. She goes through a collection of old grimoire placed in a shelves in the living room.
"Sophia Halsey" They heard a voice from behind and turned to find a woman standing there. Sophia smiled at her
"In flesh"
The witch throw a knife at her but Josie casted a spell which stopped the knife before it hits the saccubus.
The witch turns to Josie who was holding the spell making the knife float in air. She was siphoning from the grimoire.
"So you're the siphoner who break through my barriers" the witch hissed at her.
"Warm welcome" Josie gasped as she dropped the spell.
"You're still hot" Sophia tried to approached the dark haired witch in front of her but she stopped her
"You're still a home wrecker" Sophia smirked at her
"You still didn't get over from your dick mate" Sophia replied
"He isn't perfect but we are getting along and I want you to leave before he comes back and dried you off" she warns her.
"I'm not for here for a one night stand Maze" Sophia said "We need your some answers" She gestured at Josie
"Aren't all the Gemini coven died, how is she alive?"
"Long story short, the coven magically transferred me and my twin to another's womb, we are last of our coven" Josie replied
"So you're the one looking for a solution for merge, then let me tell you there's is nothing which could break the gemini curse" Maze informed her
"How do you know..."
"A blonde vampire came last year asking for information about merge and return empty handed. Now I know why a vampire needed solution for merge, she was trying to save the last Gemini twins"
"We aren't here for the that" Sophia moves closer to Maze holding her hand using her charms. She put her hands on her cheeks caressing it. Maze melts into her touch.
"Ventus" the dark haired witch muttered a spell which made the saccubus flew back and she hits the near wall. Sophia groans while she stand up to her feet.
"I helped you enough Sophia. Now leave" Maze tell her sternly.
"I'm sorry for her behaviour but I need your help" Josie tells her disappointing at saccubus's failed attempt to seduce her
"If she is using you as well..."
"She isn't. I just want to ask you some things... about mate bond" the brunette told the witch. The witch sighed looking at the brunette sensing the desperation in her voice
"You have two minutes to convince me" the witch said. Josie describe her situation to the witch. Maze grab a small bottle from her cabinet
"This will help" She handed it to the brunette
"This is temporary... I need a permanent solution to it" the brunette grunts. The dark haired witch sighed and sat on the stool besides the table
"You're right it shouldn't affect you anymore if you have accepted the rejection and the pain overpowers at the full moon doesn't make any sense" She replied "If what you're saying is true..." She paused and pull out a grimoire from her bookshelves. She opened the book and stopped a page, reading it.
"I need something which belongs to your mate" Josie thinks about for a moment and take off her necklace handing it to the witch. She placed the necklace on the empty table and pull out a knife from a cabinet.
"Give me your hand"
"What are you doing?" Sophia asked as she spoke after some time.
"You stay there" the witch glared at the saccubus but she came little closer to Josie, watching their every move.
She made a small cut on Josie's palm draining some blood which falls on the table.
"I'm trying to figure out what went wrong with the rejection" Maze starts to chant a spell and after few minutes in the spell the blood on the table moves  and merged with necklace, completely absorbed by the necklace.
The witch stopped when the process is done. Her eyes widened as she looked at the brunette as the realisation hits her. She also noticed that the cut on Josie's hand healed by now which was unusual for a witch let alone for a siphoner who doesn't have their own magic. She recognise her mate, her unique mate, the only creature in the world.
"You're the tribrid's mate" She tells her. Josie gulped as she stayed silent "And not only you're her mate, you share the same soul" Josie didn't understand her at first
"Can you please elaborate a little" Sophia asked Maze. The witch looked at the saccubus
"You shouldn't have brought her here" she picked the necklace handling it back to Josie "if someone found out about her, they are going to come for you too" she gestured at the brunette
"What do you mean? Who'll come for me?" Josie asked afraid of Maze's reaction
"The witches... they will do anything to balance the nature even if it means killing an innocent" She informed them as she pushed them both towards the door.
"Wait wait wait. What does it have anything to do with her being the tribrid's mate?" Sophia asked her before stepping out of the threshold
"Cause you're both twin flames" She replied as she casted a spell which made them both fall back outside the perimeter as they both have a confusing yet frightened look on their face.
