The last days were harder for me than usual, because although I managed to avoid Porsche quite effectively, my heat was approaching and I knew how dangerous this time was for Alpha. Especially one who found his Omega. I quietly hoped that Pete would ask me to break the bond sooner and I could breathe a sigh of relief, but he didn't. Instead, I became irritable, and any, even the slightest sense of Porsche smell made me angry. My mind tried to convince me that I wanted him and I hated myself for it, because all I desired was to satisfy the hunger that started inside. It wasn't me who wanted him, it was that damn Alpha part which I couldn't control the way I wished I could. The heat was able to make me mark him, if I will lose control over my senses and with that, we would be unsepperable. This terrified me completely.

I had just left my last class, it was quite late, and the whole day was one big patchwork of failures, so when Pete called me, I had to breathe a few times before I picked it up.

"Vegas?" I could hear the stress in his voice, he was also worried about my approaching heat.

"Pete, I don't have time right now, you know. I'll be back soon, I just want to visit pharmacy for medication to lessen the effect," I said quickly, looking around.

There was no one next to me, but I felt a strange prick in the heart area and I needed to sit down.

"Wait, co-could you repe..." something rustled on my phone and I sighed, unhappy with the terrible network in the room. I left quickly, going one floor higher, to a small storage room that others used for smoking and using internet without any troubles. For some reason everything worked there. I closed the door behind me, slamming it hard, and I wanted to repeat what I had said, however, when I looked at the screen, I realized that my phone had discharged completely. I sighed, really tired of today, and wanted to leave, but the door didn't move under my pressure.

"Damn," I cursed, pushing harder on them, but I couldn't do anything. I was stuck. "Damn it, damn it, let it go, you stupid doors!"

Tired, I leaned my forehead against the cool metal, not understanding why this was happening to me right now, when I was so oversensitive, and then a well-known, tempting smell came to me from behind.

"Vegas?" asked Porsche, rising from the couch and looking at me in disbelief.

I wanted to laugh at my exhaustion but hands felt as if I had lost my strength when I slid down the door to the floor, sitting on it. There is nothing worse than Alpha so close to heat next to his still not marked Omega, and yet here we were. I started to pray in my mind, hoping for enough strength to stop myself from attack. This whole situation was my mistake, I should buy medication a long time ago but I was so busy recently and so tired all the time. Honestly, fate decided to punish me for this.

"Of course it's you, who else could it be. Did you plan this?" I didn't look at him, I didn't want to let my approaching heat in any way affect us.

"Seriously? Do you think I'm that good? And what? Did I bring you here by force of my own will? I just fell asleep, and when I woke up you were already inside!" the man growled, then sit back on the couch with a sigh. "Haven't you seen the note that the door is jammed? Why did you close them?"

I shook my head, not believing what was happening. Did everything really have to work against me? All I wanted was to live a quiet life with the man I loved. Why did it have to be so difficult?

"You know what, Vegas, to be honest, you're a terrible person," Porsche muttered, rubbing his face with both hands. "You act like there's something wrong with me wanting to be with my alpha."
