*Ring*
The two jolt up, to her the phone ring once again.
"Should I check it?", Finney asked Rani.
"Yeah. It wouldn't hurt to try again...I guess", Rani says sitting on the mattress as Finney get's up to check the Phone as the two listen in.
"Hello? Somebody there? We need help?", Finney asked there was a long pause till a voice was heard on the other line freaking the two out, "Finney~".
Finney puts the phone bac as the look at each other and then the phone.
"Did that just happen?", Rani asked him.
"~Yeah...I think that was a person", Finney says as the two look in shock.
The phone then starts to ring again.
Finney then goes back towards the phone but doesn't pick it up.
"Pick it up!", Rani urges him getting up as he goes and picks the phone.
The two stand together, waiting for someone to speak through the phone.
"Don't hang up", the voice says from the other line making Rani feel nervous.
"Who is it?", the two ask in unison.
"I don't remember my name", a boy's voice was heard.
Rani could almost reconvince, that she knew who it was but then again she didn't.
"Why not?", Finney asked.
"Because, the first thing you lose"
"The first thing you lose, when?", Finney questioned looking at Rani who looked really anxious.
"You know, when..."
"How do you know my name", Finney asked.
"Like I know, her name"
"My name?", Rani asked alerted.
"Rani...I couldn't forget the name of the girl, I fell in love with"
Rani gasps as her hands were now shaking and her eyes felt watery
"And...my name?", Finney asked.
"We met once".
"Your arm is mint...You almost had me".
"Bruce? Bruce Yamada", Finney says putting a hand on Rani shoulders knowing that she must feel terrible.
"Yeah...Bruce. I'm Bruce, your arm is mint. You almost had me", Bruce says to Finney.
"Rani...Don't cry", Bruce says to her.
Rani then goes up to the phone, "Bruce...why did you have to be the one to go".
There was a moment of silence till he spoke, "I don't know...I'm sorry".
Rani wipes her tears away and gives the phone to Finney as the boy hugs her.
The two pull away from the hug.
"Did the phone ring for you too?", Finney asked Bruce.
"It rang but known of us heard it. Just you two, the Grabber hears the phone too but he doesn't want to believe it", Bruce explained.
"Why are you calling us?", Finney asked as Rani listens in.
"Your arm is a mint. You almost had me, I'm glad it's you", Bruce says to him.
"Finney?", Bruce asked.
"Yeah?"
"There's a third section of the floor in the hallway, the tile is loose", Bruce explain.
