Although another sudden incident left the Daniels to wonder what's happening, they ate ice cream for snack anyways. Once again, Rhea ate in silence. So many questions started running through her head. She mentally attempted to get it out of her mind and make it clear and relaxed, but because of the earlier incident, it kept coming back. As soon as she ate the ice cream cone, she finally gave in.
Now, Rhea was back into the deepest thought she had ever experienced. This time, more puzzle pieces and clues clouded her mind. It crossed her mind to wonder who that black-hooded person is and if this person caused the incident in the Shredmaster family's concert. Rhea continued finding evidence mentally until her ice cream was all eaten.
Knowing that she has some of the ice cream on her mouth, Rhea wiped it with the tissue.
After the Daniels ate ice cream, they walked their way back to the tour bus, with Diona carrying a plastic bag of snacks.
The rest of the day began the same way as it did yesterday. Except that the Daniels were doing their own businesses. Ralpha was in his own bedroom, playing with his Donkey Kong and Bowser toys. Diona was a now cooking dinner for her family.
As for Rhea, she found herself inside the bedroom once again. Her body laid on bed. On the left side of her body. Her face was staring directly towards the window as a lot of questions, images, puzzle pieces and clues ran through her head. It crossed her mind to think that she should take action and solve this mystery, but part of her told her that it could be dangerous and she should get permission from her parents. Especially her dad.
Rhea had nothing else to do but to grab her tablet and do some... stuff to keep her up. She started with tapping the messaging app. The screen opened with bolded letters from one of the contacts. Her eyes widened in surprise as they were set on Robby's profile picture.
Rhea tapped the conversation. She rose onto her sitting position before reading the message Robby had given to her.
Hey, Rhea.
I just wanna let you know. I'm on a run. I did something wrong at the first day of school. I know you have many questions to ask, but I can't say anything more. Because I don't want you to get angry at me for that. You're one of the people I have now besides Mr. LaRusso. I'm sending you this last message, so that you don't have to worry about me and that I'm still alive. I love you, sis. I always have and always well. Stay safe. And take care, too.
Your best brother-friend,
Robby Keene
Reading this message sent pain inside of her. Not only that, but tears of hope and concern started filling her eyes. What brought her into guilt was this: He had sent her a message four days ago. Rhea started reflecting herself for a few minutes. After this, she texted him in reply.
Hey, Robby.
I don't know what you're up to these days, but I saw your message. Reading this made me feel touched, concerned... and worried at the same time. So I would like to ask you. What happened? Are you okay? And don't worry. I won't get angry at you. Really. I won't. You're my best brother-friend. Also, I love you, too, brother. Always have and always will.
Your best sister-friend,
Rhea Daniels
Just as she was about to tap the "send" button, the door was clicked open. Her head snapped towards the direction of the door. It revealed her mom, calling her, "Dinner!"
With that, Diona closed the door without a single response.
Rhea turned to the tablet screen, then to the door, then back to the tablet. After a few moments, a soft concern washed over her eyes. She closed them a bit tightly before she tapped the "send" button. Then, she tapped the "home" button. Rhea opened her eyes, remove the screen she recently used and closed the screen on her tablet.
