Ty looked out of the window of his room. It was 6pm, and he was just bringing himself to actually go into the house to have dinner, with Jack, Lou, Amy, and the two girls Father, Tim. But, Tim doesn't appear to trust Ty all that much, and Ty was the exact same.
You see, Ty before comeing to Heartland had a hard life. He was always a troubled kid, but the Fleming family, who he works for certainly don't need to know. But, he also has a secret. What he has been keeping for the past year, he's been here at Heartland.
He lives in a loft, what is just above the barn, where all o the horses are. Now, Ty isn't a fan of this room, mostly because he's above a whole barn full of horses. But, he would never speak his true feelings.
"Ty, get down here!" Came, Jack's gruff voice from the front door, of the house. Ty sighed, and didn't want to keep any of them waiting, so he walked down stairs and into the house.
He walked into the room, where the table was at. He sat at the end, Tim sitting opposite him, Lou sitting beside Ty, while Amy sat beside Tim, opposite Lou. Jack at the head table, between Lou and Amy.
"Finally." Tim muttered, when Ty had walked in and sat down. They all dug in, Ty waiting a moment before also digging in, not talking, which is sometimes normal, but not really, as they could all feel something was off.
"So~ Grandpa! Before Ty came in, you was explaining all about our family history?" Amy asked, turning to Jack, who nodded and started explaining further. But, Ty just zoned out, tensing up at the sound of the word family.
"Ty..?" Ty groaned, when he was suddenly kicked. By Tim.
"Ow! Did you have to kick me?" Ty asked, looking upto Tim who only glared at him.
"Amy asked you a question." Tim said, motioning to Amy. Ty only sighed, and looked at Amy.
"I said, what was you're family like?" Amy asked, causing Ty to choke on his water. He cleared his throat.
"Uhm, there fine. I guess. Uhm, I need to turn in. Have to muck out all of the stalls in the morning... eearly night for me." Ty made up a quick lie, before jolting out of his seat and out of the house.
"He's keeping something from us." Tim snarled.
"Dad, he don't have to tell us everything." Lou said, looking at Amy who seemed a little hurt, at already firguring that Ty was lying.
"Yeah, Lou's right. Now, let's get all cleaned up." Jack said, taking Tys and his plate into the kitchen, while Amy grabbed Tims and followed after Jack.
____________________Ty sat in his room, on the edge of his bed, thinking.
Ty huffed, before pulling his blanket over his shoulders, and drifted of, into nightmare land.
