Ty jolted awake yet again. His white t-shirt what he slept in, see threw and soaked, caused by the sweat. Ty groaned, when the sun flooded into the room and clouded his personal space.
Ty looked at the time, 7:30. At least he didn't need to face Tim, or even Jack or Lou. Bue, he got up and threw on his white t-shirt with his blue skinny jeans. He then walked out of his room, and out of the stables.
He walked over to the front porch of the house and grabbed the paint brush and bucket. He grabbed the white paint and missed it all together, as he starting painting the porch bars.
Ty heard cheering from inside the house, recornising the voices and laughs of Lou and Amy. Ty chuckled quitely to himself at how they sounded like little 5 year olds, even though he had no idea what they were all happy for.
"Ty!" Amy shouted, rushing out of the house. Ty stood up, as Lou, Tim, and Jack had all followed Amy outside, when Ty had stood up, and Amy threw her arms around him.
"Uh, what's going on?" Ty asked, as Amy pulled away and shoved a letter in his face, he grabbed it and started reading it, "I'm doing the show jumping compertition!"
"Woah, really?" Ty asked, before laughing, "Told you, you would get in."
"Yup! And, I was wondering if you would like to coach me?" Amy asked, as Tim was about to butt in but Jack pulled him back, Ty seeming shocked.
"Uhm, why exactly do you need a coach? I mean, you can ride any horse. I mean, like any one! You don't need a Coach. And, I don't know... a thing about horses." Ty lied, as Amy gave him the puppy dog eyes.
"Come on Ty! Please? It'll be fun." Amy begged, as Ty just sighed.
"Fine." Ty grumbled, "But, if you loose cause of me, don't blame me."
"You got it." Amy said, as Ty smiled a weak, small, and fake smile. He started painting the fence once again, "Lou, let's go into town! I need a new riding outfit."
Lou nodded, grinning while starting to walk with Amy to her vhecal.
"Grandpa! You three should come meet us in the cafe! Around 12ish." Lou shouted, while getting in her truck. Ty watched the truck drive away.
"What do you say Ty? We go to that cafe then?" Jack asked, as Ty seemed a bit un-sure, "No taking no for an answer. I am you're boss after all, meet you in the truck in an hour!"
Jack walked away, as Tim watched as Ty painted the fence.
"Do I have something on my face?" Ty suddenly asked, getting annoyed.
"No." Tim said, "Why don't you ride?"
The question caught Ty of guard, as he quickly stood up, almost falling as he grabbed the paint bucket.
"I need to go get ready." Ty said suddenly, while walking back into the barn, while Tim watching him suspiciously.
____________________Ty sighed, when Jack pulled up in the cafe parking spot. They were here to meet Lou and Amy in the cafe, as Tim also came along to watch Ty.
"Can't believe I let you drag me into this. I have work to be done!" Ty said.
"And, I am you're Boss. Be grateful you get at least an hour off." Jack said, jumping out of the truck, with Ty and Tim following.
The three guys walked into the cafe, where Lou and Amy sat at a table, where Amy's friend just took there order and waved bye. The three guys sat down on the same table as the girls. Ty opposite Amy, Jack beside Ty, to stop any arguements between Tim and Ty, and Tim sat beside Lou and Jack.
"Thought you guys weren't gonna show." Lou said, grinning.
"Nah. You got you're outfit Amy?" Tim asked, as Amy nodded, smiling as usual. She looked to Ty, who seemed a bit un-easy.
"You okay, Ty?" Amy asked, as Ty put on a quick fake smile, nodding.
"Yup." Ty said, as he looked outside. He kind of been put of on comeing into town, when he could. As, Ashley the neighbor of Heartland, she never leavs Ty alone, and is always bugging him. It was kinda annoying, "Uhm, anybody want a drink? I'm gonna go get one."
"Could I have a water?" Lou asked.
"Beer." Tim said, as Ty lookd at Amy and Jack, who only shook there heads, so Ty stood and walked over to the island.
"Hey Ty, what can I get cha?" The girl, who is Amy's friend asked.
"Uhm, 2 waters and 1 beer please." Ty mumbled, as the girl nodded and walked away, only to come back a few minutes later.
"There ya go. Anything else?" Ty shook his head, "Alright, then that would be 3 pounds please."
Ty nodded and digged into his pocket, with some change and handed the right amount, then grabbed the drinks. He put one on the table infront of Lou, then handed one to Tim, who took it, with a smirk. Ty then sat down and took a sip of his water.
"No beer Ty?" Tim asked, as Ty shook his head.
"Don't drink." Ty said, as Tim slowly nodded.
"Why? Isn't that what most teenagers do most days? Party, smoke, drink?" Tim asked, as Ty shook his head. He never really touched a drink...
"Dad, some teenagers don't actually do all that stuff you picture!" Amy said.
"But, what about a troublemaker like Ty?" Tim asked, looking to Ty with a raised eyebrow, then sent a side glance to Ty's hand, what was balled up into a fist on the table. He took a deep breath, and slowly let his hand go.
"No. I don't party, smoke, or drink." Ty said, "Never have, never will."
Tim smirked, and took a sip of his beer. Ty looked outside of the window, and across the streat he squinted his eyes to try and see what he thought was a famiular face.
But, Ty just ignored it and finished his water.
"You guys ready to go? Cause, we have finished our shopping." Lou said, as they all nodded while standing. Ty was first outside, and in the trcuk, just wanting to get back. Outside was the one place, where he didn't wanna be, especially after a nightmare what he had.
Jack, and Tim also jumped into the truck, while Amy and Lou, wne tinto Lous car, as they sped off, Amy and Lou following behind them. Ty looked out the back window, then over to Jack.
"What day is that compatition Amy's competeing in?" Ty asked, breaking the silence.
"Uhm, not sure. In a weeks time I think?" Jack said, "Why?"
"Just wondering." Ty said, when they pulled up outside of the house.
